PS had arrangements in place to go to Casino. He didn't go, he didn't even phone to say he wasn't coming even though he said he thought he did phone. That to me seems very odd. Was he in a state of shock or panic? Did he stay as leaving would have brought suspicion? Was he needing to protect somebody? Was he in fear?

way way back there was a msm quote from a male neighbour interviewed in the first week stating the exact to the minute time his wife left to go shopping, it seemed a giant red flag, i was sure it was mr w who said it, and it was discussed here, but by that time the original article had disappeared, everyone had differing ideas who said it, i wonder if the original unchanged msm article is in the first thread?

Bear is this what you're looking for?

Edit: sorry I just noticed you said "the original article".

This could be it? It was PS who spent the next day with the pool net IIRC.

A Benaroon Drive resident said his wife drove out of the street, which William's grandmother no longer lives in, one minute before William disappeared.

It was 26 or 28 minutes to 11am, he remembered with minute detail.

"She never saw a car or noticed anything strange," he said.

The man spent the next day with a pool net in hand searching through a dam and waterholes, anxious about what he might find.

These tweets in reference to PS searching water holes the next day led me to believe he is the man quoted in the media report.

Yes, it seems they were likely on the other side of the house - furthest from her house - when Judy Wilson heard them. I recall reading that just the other day. I wonder if Judy Wilson saw the teal car, as well.

Minutes later, William and his sister were riding their bicycles in the property's driveway, when a car drove past, did a U-turn in a neighbour's driveway and drove off.
Around this time, Judy Wilson, whose property was just metres from William's grandmother's yard, heard the two children playing before she took off to run errands in town.
    The day William Tyrrell vanished

Paul Savage said he was having tea and toast at that time, and could hear them also.

The elderly man told the inquest before William went missing he'd sat on his veranda with toast and tea between 9am and 9.30am and could hear children playing.
He was unsure whether his late wife, Heather, was with him.
    "I remember hearing the kids."

I wonder if the car Crabes heard was the car that may of taken William, because if it was at 10.30 ffc would of seen it leave as she rounded the deck to look for William, she said it was silent so im not to sure that time is correct, was this time exact ? also where did AMS live ? ..and did ff hear HS leaving ?

Savage told the court he was again preparing to have “tea and toast” after his wife left. “I wanted something to eat” he told the court.

Craddock SC clarified that he claims he was having tea and toast for a second time.

The court heard there was then a knock at the front door as he was making his second lot of tea and toast. He said he recognised the person as a neighbour, who he later learned was Anne-Marie Sharpley.

    Or possibly protecting himself?

I think Greg & Regina Newton's police statements might hold some weight, with regard to the activities/movements at the Savage's house that morning.

What time Heather came home that day (if she came home after they arrived).
If Heather said she was at bingo, or relayed where she had been before they arrived.
What they had for dinner ... was it a meal that Heather had prepared earlier?
How Savage was acting that evening.
If Savage left the house that evening, or stayed home and visited with them.

I have been through Lia's tweets and also various articles, but the Newton's police statements are not mentioned. With the high interest in Paul Savage, I would think they have been interviewed in detail by the police. imo
