One person who seems to have been disregarded immediately (and for no apparent reason??), was the neighbour man who lived alone with the boxes on his windows .......

This is the first person I thought of. Because ...

He wasn't named before, in any way at all
Grandma thought of him right away when asked if she had any suspicions/feelings about who could have taken William
He moved away very quickly
His home had the perfect vantage point to see William that morning
The mystery cars were outside his place

Link to article where Stefanovic was interviewed about his July 2021 documentary re William. Very interesting.

My thoughts today are ... was AJ abducted and returned as a message to Wiliiam's case investigators who are getting too close? Could William be held somewhere.

Who was driving the white ute near AJ's area. Who was using the local shack that is still a crime scene according to media articles on AJs disappearance?

There was nothing indicating that guy went north.

I am thinking along the lines of the story the old guy told the nursing home carer and William being taken 300kms north. That would put him in region of Bulga where Police found the white ute seen at AJ scene.

I think we need to be very careful at pointing fingers at people who lived on Benaroon.

Or a leak?

'It shines a totally new complexion on what investigators believe happened to William,’ the officer told the Daily Telegraph.
. . .
A NSW Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia they could not comment on the matter as 'it is subject to a Coronial Inquest and an ongoing investigation'.

Person overseas or in gaol could explain extended preparations?

A tactic to rattle the monkey from the cage imo.

Think you may have got your norths and south's mixed up there. Old guy drove north of Kendall. Kendall is north of putty.

NSW Police have zeroed in on a new person of interest who they believe is responsible for the death and disappearance of William Tyrrell.

The investigation has dramatically shifted its focus from previous lines of inquiry to a suspect previously ruled out by detectives then in charge.

Police are now confident they will solve the mystery of the disappearance of the three-year-old boy, who was last seen in 2014.

A new investigation into William’s disappearance has uncovered clues previously not explored, a senior police officer has told The Daily Telegraph.

“It shines a totally new complexion on what investigators believe happened to William,’’ the officer said.

I have an over riding premonition it will be someone who thinks their involvement will never be discovered and have made major errors recently. They would never know how investigators hone in and tell people they are not suspects when in fact they are at top of the list with every possible surveillance technique deployed. I wonder if they have new friends like how the utter filth Cowan got arrested.

Did Cowan have a mate in the Kendall area? Cowan actually lived in northern NSW before his arrest not to far from Casino.

Cowan was convicted of Daniel's abduction and murder in March 2014.

I could never understand why he was dismissed as a suspect so early and so easily.
He was a very difficult guy to sleuth, was he a police informant, or in witness protection?
I don’t recall if he appeared at inquest.?

Where did ex boyfriend of William's bio mother live? Not talking about the well known guy who attended coroners hearings. The story was released by the x's mother saying he was Williams bio father and lived in an aboriginal community in northern nsw and he had William.

My thoughts are on the person who GJ mentioned in his book & describes him as : a fat, hairy gorilla of a man living in the area near William's FGM's house. He worried Jube's , his name kept coming up with locals . This person had what looked like a shrine with a photo of William & quotes from Jubes from newspapers hanging up. He was put under surveillance . He was bought in for an interview & at the same time his placed searched covertly...nothing found related to William

Or # 35, he was not at the inquest & very little mentioned of him really.........

Isn't current investigator stating they uncovered new info?

This is my first post on this case, however I have followed from the beginning.

I don’t believe this ‘new suspect’ name has been mentioned before. I really hope this breaks the case wide open and we finally have answers to what has happened to poor William.

JMO IMO

From one newbie to another ....welcome!

I think everything and anyone could be on the table - good comments and thoughts all round. Sounds like a bit of cage rattling as some stated above how often do you put in the media your going to interview someone soon.

To get squealers squealing to protect themselves before they get arrested too. Pressure cooker pressure.

Deals to provide vital information.

Daniels case is the most perfect example. The colonial inquiry reports are mindblowing reading.

Well they must of I guess ;)

But this person has been ruled out earlier . So it's not someone new to investigators ( if we can believe the recent article )

The investigation has dramatically shifted its focus from previous lines of inquiry to a suspect previously ruled out by detectives then in charge.
