*Preliminary Hearing (@ 8am MT) - AZ - 1 year old (Beaten to death by Mom's boyfriend, Jan. 7, 2022, died Jan. 10, 2022, Fort Mohave) - *Nikko Demitri McLachlan (27) arrested (1/13/22), charged (1/19/22) & indicted (1/20/22) with 1st degree murder per domestic violence, 2nd degree murder per domestic violence & child abuse per domestic violence. $50K bond, bonded out (1/14/22).
Case info: Deputies with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office had responded on 1/7/22 to a residence in Fort Mojave after receiving a call of a child who was not breathing.Deputies helped with CPR until the Mojave Mesa Fire Dept. arrived & rushed the child to Valley View Medical Center. The 1-year-old was later flown to the UMC Children’s Hospital in Las Vegas, where the child died on Jan. 10, 2022. The Clark County Medical Examiner determined the child died from "non-accidental" bilateral subdural hematomas, an extensive brain injury.
1/23/22 Update: Preliminary hearing on 1/24/22 @ 8am & arraignment hearing on 2/7/22.

Not sure I understand "what" is going on - I do see he has supervening charges - 2 for murder (1st & 2nd) & child abuse intentional. Previous charges were:
1st degree murder per domestic violence, 2nd degree murder per domestic violence & child abuse per domestic violence.
This was the only case that showed up for him. Hopefully his arraignment date is still the same on 2/7/22. I'll keep an eye out on this.
