Amazing news! RIP Carolyn Eaton.
What great news, rest in peace Carolyn Eaton
Wow. Amazing news. RIP, Carolyn, I hope this leads to closure for your family.
May Carolyn’s family get the closure and hopefully her case gets solved now that her identity has been released.
Rest In Peace Carolyn.
Rest in Peace, Carolyn. Thinking of her loved ones.
Hopefully we’ll get to see a picture of her soon!
I think that by tomorrow maybe, i don't know if LE makes a press release after announcing it on a social media platform.
Maybe CCPD is scheduling a livestream with the info and further details, specially since they now have a name and a possible photo, in hopes of getting new info from people who knew Carolyn.
So glad Carolyn got her name back. Rest in peace.
I kinda felt that she would be identified, before the 40th anniversary.
Sending my thoughts to Carolyn's family on this difficult time.
Another one identified! I've a feeling many more will be identified before this year is over.
We share the same last name.
Given that it was around Christmas, I think this may be @monksprung's best friend's sister. I wonder if they'll come back to WS...
This was the case that haunted me the most. RIP, Carolyn.
Wow, this is amazing! I was really hoping to see her identified soon, because the interview with Patty Wilkins posted a week and a bit ago made me think that they didn't have any detectives working on her case.
Rest in peace Carolyn. I hope this leads to closure for your loved ones, and for Patty Wilkins too.
Godspeed Carolyn <3
Happy to see another identification! So, far this year has been great for the unidentified.
Rest in peace, Carolyn.
How absolutely wonderful to have her name back, but also so very heartbreaking for her family. My condolences to her loved ones!
Just read about this and did some research. Here’s the general information soup we have currently:
Full name was Carolyn Celeste Eaton
Born: October 1, 1964
Died: January 25, 1982 - February 13, 1982
Father died when she was 14 in 1978
Ran away from home in St. Louis, MO around December 1981
No photographs (yet?)
Probably lived in the Bellefontaine Neighbors part of St. Louis
Thats all the info I could find. I hope I can find out more and possibly some photographs later on.
Does anyone have a subscription to one of the year books sites?
As much as I hate to be critical of people, it’s just confusing why no photographs were released and the press statement read on FB. That just seems very unprofessional.
I’ve tried searching on classmates to no avail.
