This should be an easy case to identify.

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Found on April 2, 2010
Circumstances: Found by US Border Patrol agents west of Monteluma Pass, in Cochise County.
Race: Hispanic/Latino - possibly from Honduras
Age: 15-35
Height & Weight: 5' 5", unknown weight
Hair color: Black, had facial hair (beard and moustache)
Eye color: Unknown
Distinctive Body Characteristics: none
Tattoo: Snake/rope tattoo on right arm
Clothing: 1 pair of white socks, 1 tan "Largo" style pants "Gap" Utility Jeans size 32 x 32, one black belt with "DANIHLM" on buckle, 2 shirts; 1 white polo style shirt with green stripes "XIOS" size Large, 1 gray shirt "Kaptan" size medium, 1 blue windbreaker jacket (no brand or label), white briefs "Hanes" size 32, one pair black "Fila" shoes (no size)

Other: A rosary with white and emerald beads, tan-brown wallet, a nasal inhaler, a regular inhaler, scrap of paper that has words on it (I believe its in Spanish due to the word "Hay" written.) a business card for a "Copanti Hotel" in Honduras, and lastly 4 pictures.
The pictures consist of:
1. A toddler that is posing in front of a poster made for portraits type background that is of Disney character Dumbo shooting water out of his trunk.

2. A child believed to be around the ages of 6-9 y.o. posing in front of a poster portrait back ground that consists of Disney characters winnie the pooh and tigger sitting on motorcycle. The text in the picture says "Phillips" at the top and "Mis 7. Anos" on the bottom right.

3. Photo of a woman possibly in her 20s or 30s.

4. Laminated photo of a child that is sitting cross legged on a chair with yellow flowers in the background.

If someone knows how to touch up photos so that it would be easier to get a clearer picture on these photos would be great.

Its so sad because if these are his children in the photos (who are probably all-grown up) and his girlfriend/wife in the photos, then they must be desperately wondering where he is.

Just some general observations here "DANIHLM" is a brand of belt but I cannot find any company information as to where they would be sold. The picture that says "Phillips" Mis 7 Anos that translates to "Phillip my 7 year old" Also the scrap of paper that was found I tried to make out the words and all I can say for certain is it says "Hay Temor" which translates to "There is fear" From the business card in his wallet that would lead me to believe he was originally from Honduras or at the very least had visited Honduras before he decided to travel across the border.

I find these cases very interesting and sad. I know they're breaking the law by trying to cross the border this way but I can't imagine how terrible life must be for them to risk their life trying to escape their country. Granted some of them may be drug smugglers and real criminals but most of them are just looking for a better life of course that's just my opinion.

I think it's the "Compantl Hotel" in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. And the paper says "HAY TEMOR" - there is fear. I wonder if they could make out anything else on the paper?

I would love to see the belt buckle. Is it possible that the "H" is actually an "E?" Then the buckle would say DANIELM. He could be named Daniel M_____.

The "Phillips" name is strange to me. Could it be a brand of motorbike, maybe? Or there is an airline food company in San Pedro Sula called Casa Proveedora Phillips that might have had a company party with photos? I have a Phillip in my family and when traveling in Spanish-speaking countries it is a very difficult word for most people. Felipe would make sense but Phillips is veeery phonetically awkward in Spanish. I'm guessing it was taken for the little boy's 7th birthday? The photo of the smaller (maybe same) child says "Mis 8 meses" (or 9?). 8 months old.

So if there's a popular photo place in San Pedro Sula that did kids' birthday photos like this that area might be a place to start? It's so hard because there are so many that travel from Honduras to the US with no travel records. :(

@Dylansmom08 we posted at almost the same time! You are totally right about the "danihlm" belt buckle. It looks mass-produced, available practically anywhere. I was hoping it was custom.

On that photo with Dumbo can anyone make out the name at the top it looks like it says "Yendry" but I don't know if that makes sense. I definitely see a "Y" as the first letter and either "ary" or "dry" at the end but not so sure if that is an "n" in the middle or what. Also the bottom says "Mis 8 meses" that part is pretty clear.

Good eye! I totally missed that! It looks like "Yendry" to me. Seems to be a primarily feminine name but not exclusively. There is a "Yendry Diaz" that's a Cuban soccer player. This could definitely narrow things down.

Oh, and I think there is a "no" in front of "hay temor." There is no fear.
And maybe before that "a tu lado." Maybe a religious reference about if God is by your side there's no fear or something like that?

One last thing - I'm pretty sure the shirt brand is "XIOS" (not the size).

I color corrected the photos and then ran them through Remini. I'm no professional but I do have some experience in the field.

"Danihlm" is actually a knock-off brand to the Alfred Dunhill brand. Interestingly and coincidentally, this knock-off brands seems only to sell belts. You can still buy "Danihlm" products today like on Aliexpress and DHgate.

Just to show you and to compare the logo names.

When looking on the official website for the hotel, they do have a convention center for parties and they have sponsors for parties. Although none of the sposnors have a Phillips listed. Maybe the company who took the photo is more private??? But then again, since 2010, if the company did take pictures at the hotel, then they probably went under or just do not take pictures there anymore. But yes I too believe that Phillip is not a birth name used in Centro America.

Thanks for cleaning up those photos I will post them to a few of the missing from Mexico groups on FB and see if I can get any leads. It will probably be a long shot to get any response but it's worth a try maybe we will get lucky. Also, I am going on the search for Honduras missing persons groups to see what I can dig up.

This one also has a name that looks like it starts with a Y written over the kids head. Cubans have been using names starting with the letter Y since like the late 1970s early 1980s. It became big at one point every kid born was named some weird version of a name with a Y.
It was not popular with Generations earlier which stuck with traditionally naming their kids after the Saints or their grandparent.

The bottom of the photo with the kid w Dumbo looks to me like it’s says Mis 9 Mes or Meses which would translate in English to My 9 Mnths.

There's not much Philips wise in Honduras, but next door in Guatemala, Philips electronics seems to have a concern there.
Also Philip Morris International, cigarette manufactures.

Maybe the party was a corporate event for it's employees? Hence, the Philips name at the top of the photo.

Maybe he was Guatemalan, and his route to the USA took him via Honduras?

Phillips is definitely the little boy's name. I've heard all kinds of English-like names in Latin America, like Maikol.
