AZ AZ - James Daniels Jr, 42, from WY, moving friend w/refrig trk b/w Kingman & Wickenburg 21 Aug 2021

I am sorry if I am not doing this the appropriate way. My friend of 25 years James Daniels Jr age 42, has been missing since August 21st. Last seen/ known location was on Hwy 93 in Arizona between Kingman and Wickenburg. He was driving a 28' refrigerated truck with no license plates. He had flown from his current place of residence Wyoming to Lake Tahoe where we are from to help a friend of his move to Mississippi. Somewhere on Hwy 93 his friend who was driving a pickup truck with trailer in tow got a flat tire; approx mile marker 141. This gentleman dropped the trailer form his truck, left his dog with my friend James Daniels (JD) or (Mojo) with the 28' truck, the trailer and his dog. It was sunset. The friend arrived in Wickenburg too late to get any service so according to him waited until morning. He then drove back to the location he left my friend at to find No truck, No JD and no Dog. This is all his story mind you. From him to me. There is much more to the story like what this person did in the following days after having "lost" my friend, his dog and his truck. But I do not know that I need to just lay it all out. My whole point is that he is missing and not a single person he knows has heard from him. He was a very social person, a little odd but in a sort of good way. I do not know if I should post a picture or description of him or what. I just want to find my friend. Alive or not. I want to find him because he deserves to be found. It is not like him to just disappear. At all. He does not care about the casinos and Vegas so he is not there. It does not make sense why they were on hwy 93 in the first place seeing as how they were driving from California to Mississippi. Hwy 93 heads south directly away from the interstate that would have taken them straight to Mississippi. There are many other things that just do not make sense. I need help. I need help knowing what to do to find him. A missing persons report has been made in Wyoming as well as Arizona. If need be I can furnish those numbers etc. Just hoping someone out there can help me.

Well, that's a really good idea and I agree however having plates on it isn't the major concern in all of this for me, our friends or his family. Also, I have no idea how a 28' truck can disappear. I just really don't. Besides maybe Mexico. I'm pretty much wondering the same thing along with the rest of us.

What did the friend do the following days after discovering everything gone?

This is a great question. And I have recounts of what he did by way of screen shots with messages between he and others. He says he slept in his car one night in a nowhere town on hwy 93 hoping he would come back. A friend of mine has a daughter in Phoenix and when she still thought they just got separated told him to go there to get some rest and get a plan. He proceeded to sleep, wake up tale a shot of whiskey (not a drinker) go back to sleep, wale up and take a shower, do his laundry, go back to sleep and repeat this for 3 days. He's not a clean guy from what I hear so all of this is strange. Sometime shortly after he decided to sell some belongings on his trailer in Arizona to get more money to get where he was going. Shortly after that he says he sold the trailer and everything on it to some shop in New Mexico. I just learned that the guy has a broken foot that he got during g this that he hadn't told anyone about in previous story.

I checked out Mojo's FB. I get the impression he travels often. What's the longest he's ever been out of reach from anyone? When he travels, what types of things does he like to do (e.g., camping, sight seeing, visiting friends/relatives, etc.)? Is the concern focused more around his absence or on the circumstances with travel partner's strange answers/behavior?

He is not a trucker btw. He was driving the truck his friend owned full of his friends belongings helping him to move across country. I found the truck today as well.

Did Mr. Daniels have experience driving a semi? Not like driving a car or a pick-up. I'm licensed up to 26,000 pounds & am not interested in trying a big rig!
