AZ – Brandon Boudreaux (34/now 39) attempted murder on Oct. 2, 2019 in Gilbert, AZ. *Lori Norene Vallow (46 @ time of crime/49/now 51) indicted (2/24/22), charged & arraigned (12/7/23) with 1 count of 1st degree murder premeditated. Plead not guilty. Held without bond. Maricopa County
Trial was set to begin on 2/24/25 was vacated no further dates. [Waiting for competency report [10/22/24], Competent to stand trial [12/5/24].

11/21/24 Docket update: Rule 11-Notice of appointment filed. It is ordered appointing Dr. Rick Webster to conduct an evaluation of defendant. The defendant is represented by Pamela Hicks. The Judge may rule on Vallow's competency as early as Thursday, 12/5/24. On Thursday, a mental health expert is expected to submit to a judge in Phoenix the second of two required mental evaluations, which will determine whether she stands trial next year or is committed to a mental hospital for treatment. It is possible that the mental health evaluation will not be released on Thursday. The judge may take it under advisement.
11/18/24 Docket update: Motion for continuance filed by prosecution. 11/19/24 Docket updates: Email filed. Notion: Sealed document. Motion for reconsideration re: defendant's motion to withdraw prior counsel's motion for Rule 11 evaluation. 11/20/24 Docket update: Order entered by Court. 11/21/24 Docket update: Status conference. 11/22/24 Docket update: Mental exam experts appointed. 11/27/24 Docket update: Order entered by Court.
12/5/24 Update: Commissioner Marderosian presiding. Dr. Michael McGady & Dr. Rick Webster indicated to the court that Vallow was competent. Vallow deemed competent by 2 doctors & ready to move forward with her case, but what remains to be decided is if she can represent herself just yet. Next is the scheduling of a status conference with Judge Justin Bersesky who is presiding over the murder case. Status conference hearing is scheduled on 12/6/24 @ 8:30am.
ID – Vallow found guilty of all charges & sentenced to 3 consecutive life sentences without parole on 7/31/23.

A Maricopa County Superior Court judge tentatively set Vallow Daybell’s trial for Feb. 24.
I thought it started 3/31/25 with jury selection??
