Back to the Beginning: Where Might Kyron Be?

There was some mention early on of relatives in Scandinavia. Also, DD IICC has traveled abroad quite a bit.

Ah yes. She said she spoke German.

Still not sure about who Kaine was referring to, but I suspect his relatives are the ones from Norway.

IMO ... If Kyron left the country by international public air service on his own actual passport - we'd know. There were enough Federal agents from the get-go to cover that database. IMO.

Fake passport, not so much.

Yes- I think that would fall into the 'illegal' category. Also, relatively simple. Thinking of immigrants.

Taken off ship and then flown to another country? Or boards another ship headed to ??

Totally different legally vs illegally. Legally I would think it would almost be a piece of cake for Terri or Kaine, or Desiree. I also wonder about DD with the hair, impersonating Terri.
You walk into a passport office with your own valid passport and apply for your child (who you would need birth certificate for.) I imagine Terri would have liberal access to this, given involvement in school.
They verify you are a parent or guardian, and wham, your kid has a passport.
They might ask him to take off his glasses to take the pic- some do, some don't. Ditto on hats, etc.

Then to actually fly out- a parent or guardian could walk him to the gate and he could either fly attended (I imagine not, considering people would have remembered him by now) or with another adult (much less likely anyone would think of it.)
He'b be in Europe before anyone knew he was missing.

A child of his age cannot fly unaccompanied.

Since I am not from that area Oriah I don't know the route that would be taken into Canada but how long does it take to get the Canadian border from where he went missing? There is 7 hours where no one knew where he was.

If it were a pedophile abductor then maybe he would travel the back roads like Duncan did when he came in from his own state into Idaho and went to another state with the children.

IMO

I-5, correct locals? off I-5 there are a number of different routes- will try to link map.

I agree ocean, about a pedophile abductor- although I think likely a quick (highway) initial exit, and then back roads.

If by air, how do you keep a 7 year old from talking? Even with a fake passport.

On a ship not requiring a passport, he could be kept apart from crew and other passengers, and taken off ship before it returns to US.

she also taught in Japan for a year.

A child of his age cannot fly unaccompanied.

Certain airlines allow children as young as five to fly as an unaccompanied minor status- you pay a fee to the airline for the steward/stewardess to accompany them gate to gate where they meet the prearranged pick up person.

They think they're going somewhere to surprise someone? Give them a hefty dose of benedry?

Logie Trail is the legend. A road north of Logie Trail is where the guy said a white truck came out of.

So a radius of, say 0.5 mile off of turn arounds/dead ends/pull offs on Logie.

I think Kyron is within a 5 - 10 mile radius of Skyline Elementary School.

All JMO

Also a good point- taken off ship. Who do we know of in this case that has access to a private boat or yacht, captains license or other similar situation? or even tour operators.

IF he was taken by air, it was a relative he knew and trusted. I don't see even a friend of the family being able to pull that off.

If it's a stranger or someone he knew but outside of family, then by land or sea.

So do I. But since we don't know that for fact, I'm interested in other possibilities.

The passport would have to be in his name if it was under Terri's and Kaine's names.

That type of flight could be easily checked.

When flying overseas, you give your passport number when you make the flight as well as all other passengers that are going.

Then your boarding information is verified several times with your passport. The information has to match.

There are people that continually look at those tickets and your passport.

A child cannot fly without an escort. Either another adult or someone that you pay for that is an employee of the airline who flies with the child.

The only way that this would work is if they had a fake birth certificate for Kyron with a valid social security number.

I am sure that it can be done. It sounds like a very expensive proposition with risks and for what possible reason?

that is not flying unaccompanied. The child is not alone on the airplane, but rather is supposed to be sitting with an employee of the airline that you have paid for with that service.

If he had a passport already, yes. But what if he did not and a parent or guardian applied for one using improper documentation? I guess that would fall into the 'fake' category- but it would be fake documentation to apply for a 'real' passport. KWIM?

I'm just referring to what some airlines call it- some refer to 'unaccompanied' as, say a 15 yr old whom you pay a fee for and they are on their own in the airport itself. Others (under a certain age) you pay the fee, and the steward walks them gate to gate as well as signs them off to the guardian on the other end. IME, none actually sit with the child once onboard.

I can't recall having to give my passport number when making a reservation to fly? Perhaps it depends on the airline- will look it up.
And I think flying with an escort is most likely in this scenario- i.e. your 'mom' and a friend go to the airport with you where 'mom' checks you in and says you are traveling with escort. The airlines responsibility ends there.

I agree- in any case seems like a lot of risk and to what end?

Then again, so is murdering a child because you...feel like it.
