Pillay suggests when she first saw him that night that he was "visibly distraught." She says he looked lethargic, weary, has a "sad look."

Shannon Martin ‏@ShannonMartinTV 7m7 minutes ago Toronto, Ontario
Crown had earlier asked if Millard really meant shredding paper, or was he alluding to something else. Noudga maintains it was shredding

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 7m7 minutes ago
Pillay suggests she didn't pick up on that in his texts. that he had put on a front. She agrees. #Bosma

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 7m7 minutes ago
Noudga says when she next saw #Millard he seemed tired, "lethargic."

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 7m7 minutes ago
When Noudga saw Millard May 9 she could tell he was "lethargic and sad." She couldn't tell that from text messages. #TimBosma

Colin Butler ‏@ColinButlerCBC 7m7 minutes ago
The week after #TimBosma vanished Millard was "lethargic, weary and had a sad look to him" #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 6m6 minutes ago
May 9, 2013. Texts all week but hadn't seen Millard until this night. "He was lethargic and weary and had a sad look to him," says Noudga.

He must have been on Viagra then

Alex Pierson ‏@AlexpiersonAMP 7m7 minutes ago
May 9th. She explains DM appeared "sad. Lethargic. Weary" texts didn't show mood. But he wasnt himself. Looked tired. Bloodshot eyes.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 7m7 minutes ago
But he suggests when he came to pick her up he was tired, had bloodshot eyes. Looked like he hadn't slept in days.

Shannon Martin ‏@ShannonMartinTV 7m7 minutes ago Toronto, Ontario
When Noudga finally saw Millard that week, after Bosma disappeared, she said he was weary, he had sad eyes. Quiet, somber. #Bosma

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 7m7 minutes ago
Noudga agrees with Pillay that #Millard had bloodshot eyes when they met. "He looked physically exhausted," she notes.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 7m7 minutes ago
She doesn't recall if she thought he looked exhausted but gathered that from his messages (about the long mission).

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 7m7 minutes ago
Millard was tired, had bloodshot eyes. Was quiet & somber. "You knew something was wrong." "He didn't want to talk about it."

I need to step away from the computer for the day or else my eyeballs may roll out of their sockets with this line of questions.

I rolled my eyeballs at Noudga actually saying "Alas" on the stand. LMAO.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 8m8 minutes ago
He was tired, blood shot eyes. Texts said he needed a nap. He was quiet, sombre. "I thought he may have overworked himself that week."

Shannon Martin ‏@ShannonMartinTV 8m8 minutes ago Toronto, Ontario
Pillay: You knew something was wrong? Noudga: He didn't want to talk about it. #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 7m7 minutes ago

Alex Pierson ‏@AlexpiersonAMP 7m7 minutes ago
Seemed quiet. Sombre. He didn't want to talk about it. DM she says seemed down. Told her nothing. @AM900CHML

Colin Butler ‏@ColinButlerCBC 7m7 minutes ago
His eyes were bloodshot, he was quiet, somber and he didn't want to talk about it. "He may have overworked. I felt bad for him," she says

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 7m7 minutes ago
Pillay posits that Noudga "knew something was wrong," but she doesn't necessarily agree. "He didn't wanna talk about it...Nothing." #Millard

Noudga says Hagerman and Millard "appeared to be in joyful spirits."
by Adam Carter 12:01 PM

"You don't know if he was trying to put on being in a joyful spirit for Mr. Hagerman or not?" Pillay says. "I don't, no," Noudga says.
by Adam Carter 12:02 PM

Pillay now asking about the black nitrile gloves she and Millard wore when they moved the incinerator. Noudga agrees that she had seen gloves around the hangar before.
by Adam Carter 12:03 PM

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 8m8 minutes ago
Noudga says she felt bad and thought Millard had overworked himself that week. She initially tried to talk to him but he didn't reciprocate

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 8m8 minutes ago
"He didn't want to talk about it," says Noudga. He told her nothing. Mood was like that all night. "He got more affectionate toward me."

Shannon Martin ‏@ShannonMartinTV 8m8 minutes ago Toronto, Ontario
Pillay: Millard was not his usual self? Noudga: Right #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 7m7 minutes ago
She initially tried to talk but then he didn't want to talk. Says his mood stayed all night. Became more affectionate but still "somber."

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 7m7 minutes ago
She insists she didn't think something was going on, she just thought he was mentally and physically exhausted. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 8m8 minutes ago
But he maintained his somber mood. "I just thought he was mentally and physically exhausted."

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 6m6 minutes ago
Noudga says she did see a paper shredder that MIllard had just bought. Pillay is showing photo from Maple Gate. There's a paper shredder.

Seriously? <rolls eyes>

Pillay now asking about the volume of letters.
by Adam Carter 12:04 PM

"I knew that police wanted to meet and make a statement, but I didn't want to be involved," Noudga says about that time period.
by Adam Carter 12:05 PM

Noudga says it became clear as she read that Millard was becoming "more in despair." "He was losing hope?" Pillay asks. "Yes," Noudga says.
by Adam Carter 12:05 PM

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 8m8 minutes ago

Aha, so she does remember small details. It is good that they are pointing out that he wasn't a complete horn dog after allegedly murdering someone. Thanks RP for showing us that he is able to show compassion. Whatever!

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 9m9 minutes ago
Noudga says she was pretty much falling asleep when they were dropping the toolbox at Hagerman's. She stayed in car. #TimBosma

"You were sort of like a lifeline for him?" Pillay asks. "Yes," Noudga says.
by Adam Carter 12:06 PM

"The challenge is no longer the day to day of prison life, it is bearing the loneliness," Millard writes in one letter. "This was a theme throughout the letters - his loneliness, his isolation, correct?" Pillay asks. Noudga agrees.
by Adam Carter 12:08 PM

"Give me a window into some other place. Send me pictures - I'm locked in a box," Millard says in another letter.
by Adam Carter 12:09 PM

CN can't remember details about the time around the murder yet I'm pretty sure she remembered every reason why she got jealous surrounding her boyfriend's behaviour and other women. I call BS. Give me a break. Also, she was taking physiology courses in school where attention to detail is absolute. GMAB. JMO

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 9m9 minutes ago
She stayed in the car while DM took the toolbox up the driveway to Hagerman. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 9m9 minutes ago

Millard's lawyer has either glossed over the part of the night when the couple moved the Eliminator or he's planning to re-visit it. #Bosma

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 9m9 minutes ago
Referring now to when they stopped on the way home for #Millard to give his friend a box, his back was to her.
