Yes- IMHO, it was a brilliant plan and as scary as it sounds, they almost got away with it. DM made a major slip up himself in not understanding how the info they obtained from his carding incident could be used to identify him in this crime. I believe that he drew the box around the tattoo to prevent identification but didn't realize #1 how unusual "ambition" was in that location and #2 that this tattoo was on file with LE. Secondly, in most cases of missing adults, LE doesn't embark on a massive manhunt hours after the disappearance. IMO, DM thought they'd have at least 48 hours before LE would get involved and even then, it wouldn't be anything close to what Kavanaugh launched in this case. So the plan was really quite genius- use a burner phone with an alias name to call the owner- go for a test drive after sunset, hide the backup vehicle, kill the owner, pick up the incinerator on the way to the hangar, cremate the body, strip the truck, get it repainted, change the VIN # and get a move onto Baja! Nice red truck, beautiful black leather interior owned by the rich guy and a family in Ancaster would still be looking for TB...just like there was a family in Toronto looking for LB. Premeditated to the max. Guilty to the max. So senseless and sad. Thank you to Kavanaugh for believing TB's family, IT for being aware and LE who carded DM in the first place. MOOI disagree. I think the plan was actually quite good, and if Millard had worn a long sleeve shirt to the IT test drive there's a good chance we wouldn't be having this conversation.
