Yes, that's Adam4LSU, a stand-up guy...and modest to a fault

Yes he is. I don't even know him and I had just joined the other site a few days before he started speaking of his sister in law. His personal story is what kept me going back to read those post in those days.

I remember when the DWT came to light and and it hit him that there might be a connection to the SIL and BSL. It was one of those "OMG can this be" moments. How shocking when all the lights in my brain went off while reading that back then. I know he was a wreck. Poor guy. I hope his SIL appreciates him. He might have saved her life.

Courses in college/university shoud include topics such as:

sociopath/psychopath/sex offender behavior and what to do to save your life if you are confronted by one.

I wonder how many of the inmates were worried about their victims like these A holes are worried about the inmates? Taken from KATC web page.

''Group petitions for access at Angola records'

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A New Orleans nonprofit organization wants a federal court order that would require officials of the Louisiana State Penitentiary to grant center attorneys and a medical specialist access to death-row inmates and records at Angola.

Advocacy Center attorneys say in a civil lawsuit that prison officials have refused to allow them to pursue prisoner reports that death-row temperatures have exceeded 100 degrees.

There's something I could say here but it would sound far too sarcastic & vengeful so I'll leave it to another poster.

If you've ever read tigerdroppings OT board, where he posted all of this, & then withdrew it, you'd see that the members have no love for WS & are profoundly cynical when discussing it
We had a poster who also posts there, I think he/she is CajunCoDe??.

I wish he would too. I had joined that other site before I found this one but I wasn't received very well. And yes it was there that I read what they were saying about WS and critiquing so I knew I would like this place, LOL. They were susupicious of my screen name, LOL. Not sure why though and they didn't like it when I stated I knew for a fact that MS carried Mase and possibly a sharp weapon and she would fight off anyone that tried to attack her. They shuckled and said things like "yeah she is going to stop and ask if she can get her mase out of her backpack". LOL wonder if they remembered that when he came out she did mase BSL. I didn't know MS personally but I am very good friends to some of her friends parents and a friend of hers. And they all had told me that Mickey carried protection.

As you know, we've discussed the larger than average number of buzzards (or vultures) that the neighbor said were in the vicinity.

Yes, I have been thinking that someone would want to get out a hose to hose down the particulate decayed matter.

I think buzzards (vultures) would be interested in the residue.

Sickening, but just think of all of the info. denied the public about what really happened.

Birds, and dogs don't make up stories like perps. They probably are the most objective witnesses.

Concentric, yes, I remember that we went around & around in circles and dissected the buzzards/vultures, til their feathers almost fell off.
'I digress'..

http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/1923/why-do-vultures-circle-dead-stuff

Why do vultures circle dead stuff?

The turkey vulture is one of very few birds with a well-developed sense of smell.

The black vulture is a different story--it can't smell worth a damn. While it is quite capable of locating its own food with its keen vision, more commonly it freeloads off the food-finding capabilities of the turkey vulture. When foraging, turkey vultures fly relatively low so they can detect scents from the ground.

In contrast, black vultures often fly very high, where they can keep an eye on several turkey vultures soaring far below. When they see one start to descend on a find, they follow it.

I keep finding myself thinking "what if...", as I'm sure many of you do regarding this case.

One looming question I keep asking myself, WHY did Mickey not turn before Dean? Did he suddenly accelerate and she thought perhaps before that time he was going to one of the residences? Surely at that hour, following her from at least University (?) she had to have had her guard up...

I don't know the area well enough, is Blackham well lit at night? Is it unsafe to cut over to Johnson? I just wonder why she may not have turned somewhere with more residences, even if it meant circling over her tracks until the truck went elsewhere.. just in case.

IMO, she was about a minute away from the lighted fenced bike path and the view from Johnston street was before it.

I haven't heard her regular path from that point on but I would assume it would be from there through Cajun Dome Blvd. then down Congress. Would be much much shorter, safer and her home is not far off from Congress St.

Correct, it would be the full document. Paperwork actually filed with the Court always tends to be a bit more generic in nature and, as we saw in this instance, the testimony is more specific. As you said earlier, I suspect the information actually provided to LE had even more details that were not discussed at the hearing. It was only necessary that BSL testify about enough of the facts to support each element of the charges so that the Judge could accept the guilty plea.

In the 1999 rape case, we can read a document that states what happened and it sounds terrible. The crime was much, much worse. It went on for hours according to sources- an absolutely brutal attack. So while the court document in Mickey's case is factual, it may be sanitized.

If you ask me, it's pretty nice of the state to start preparing the murderers for what's coming in the afterlife. Not all of them because some may have repented and some may be innocent but y'all get the drift.

Run, fast & far..& don't look back

President Reagan was hiking in Yellowstone National Park with Secretary of State Alexander Haig. The subject of recent grizzly bear attacks came up. President Reagan said, 'sure am glad I wore tennis shoes today'..

Secretary Haig said, 'why, you can't outrun a grizzly bear'?

President Reagan reponded, 'No, but I can outrun you"...

'Yep, only problem is, I hear that the ratio of attorneys is much greater down there'...

I wish Mickey had carried a loaded .38 instead of mace.

Oh, ok -- no, I don't think it's a watered-down version for media release. I think it's the full document, as it is written. It would be public record.

I agree completely. They don't have to include every single detail to illustrate what happened. After all, they do need to leave something for the book!

And again, there is no mention of words exchanged between him and the victim. I have no doubt that he verbally abused her.

So much intentionally left out, I'm sure.

It was probably intentionally left out because it wasn't necessary. The purpose wasn't to tell the public everything that happened, but to provide just enough details to support the charges so that the Judge would accept the guilty plea. What was actually said really has nothing to do with the charges. But I have no doubt he laid a verbal assault on her.

..snipped.. But I'm not buying BSL's one-sided version of events for one second. I think he was looking for a victim. I think he is an evil monster. I think he had the grave dug ahead of time, and had the open grave covered with sticks and leaves. He knew he was going to kill and his past experience(s) taught him how important it is to get rid of the body and other evidence as soon as possible. I don't think it is likely he could have dug a deep grave with his hand injury. Think about it; that night he was calling around to escort services looking for someone, his next victim. I also am not buying the part about him taking Mickey's pulse. That was a "yeah, right" moment for me.

This hadn't occurred to me. I think you are right. Wow

Wish Adam would come over to WS and tell his story. Would be interesting to hear all of the details he has

Based on comments he has made on TD, it's pretty apparent that Adam is not a fan of WS. I don't think he'll be back on here again, so your best bet is to visit the other site and read his postings there.
