The children were last seen with Robby Ann Floyd. Robby is the mother of the youngest three children, and the sister of the oldest, Jennifer. They were last seen packing boxes into a van outside their home. They may have been preparing to travel to Alabama.

Robby's husband and other son remained at their Fayetteville home, and claimed he heard from Robby when they were staying at a hotel in Sylacauga, Alabama. Authorities learned that they were having marital problems. They had been separated, but had apparently reconciled. He is not a suspect in their disappearace.

Robby did not keep in close contact with her family in 1996, and wasn't reported missing until 1998 as a result. Relatives in Alabama said they never arrived there. Their case remains unsolved.
