The sad thing is that she *wanted* an career in Hollywood as an teenage/adult actress, but when she tried to return, the roles weren't there. To borrow Bobby Driscoll's phrase, they carried her on a silver platter and then dumped her in the trash.
If you look at her child roles, she was damn good. Good enough that she was nominated for awards.

Her boyfriend acted *very* strangely after her OD death. Aside from being the one who gave her the fatal fix, he left the state rather quickly. Too quickly IMO. He will have known she was struggling to stay clean (as her best friend relayed to us), and her body would have lost the usual drug tolerance a person with addiction has. Fishy. *Very* fishy. I am *very* uneasy about it all.
