This is exaggeration. People want to label BR as a weirdo because he smiled during the interview, which is a bit preposterous, as that is a common reaction to anxiety and/or a nervous situation. It's off-putting, but indicative of absolutely nothing. No one knows if he's in a relationship or what his interactions are like in a social setting. The fact he lives on his own, is employed and has the benefits to work remotely and/or from home also prove absolutely nothing, other than the fact he's living like a typical single adult in the same work field. People really need to stop over-blowing things.

The term recently is subjective. In this post, it = to within the past year.

May I say, without supplying a link, that I read recently of a beautiful young lady who was highly defensive of Burke. She, as his friend, stated that he does normal things guys his age do. There were references to skateboarding, which may be an archaic term for rollerblading, and not the exact word she used but it is my version of the interpretation.

How low can one go? I read on the forum today that someone was curious about BRs possible inclination to BDSM. [bondage, discipline, sadism, and masochism].

Draw your own conclusions. Mine is that no way this activity would entice BR or I'm way wrong about his timidity and shyness.

04/19/2018 Motion Hearing (9:00 AM) (Judicial Officer Groner, David A.)

With all the lawsuits Burke has already been a participant and claimed to have won money it's significant to note he has yet to spend a nickel looking for the killer of Jonbenet via investigational efforts or rewards.

Can someone explain in layman's terms what is going with BR and this lawsuit? I appreciate Tadpole's post, but when I read them, I have no idea how to interpret them; and when I click on the links, the links don't work on my computer.

So he's moving ahead then? Or are they close to settling?

Brother Burke Scores Victory In $750M Lawsuit Against CBS
Despite the network’s attempts, a judge ruled the lawsuit will NOT be dismissed.

Jan 5, 2018

"“The Court finds that the statements at issue and the docu-series as a whole could reasonably be understood as stating actual facts about Plaintiff,” Circuit Court Judge David A. Groner wrote in the January 5 order. “The Court does not find that the ‘disclaimer’ at the beginning and the end of the program negate the docu-series potentially defamatory meaning.”

“For the reason stated above it is hereby ordered that Defendants’ Motion for Summary Disposition is DENIED.”

L. Lin Wood, one of Ramsey’s attorneys, exclusively told Radar on Friday that he was pleased with the judge’s decision, which was he said was the “absolutely correct” analysis of the facts under the First Amendment."

CBS disclaimer: "The Killing of JonBenet Ramsey is a crime that, to this day, remains unsolved. The opinions and conclusions of the investigators who appear on this program about how it may have occurred represent JUST SOME OF A NUMBER OF POSSIBLE SCNEARIOS. John Ramsey and Burke Ramsey have denied any involvement in the crime, including in recent televised interviews. WE ENCOURAGE VIEWERS TO REACH THEIR OWN CONCLUSIONS."

thanks tad
really appreciate these updates.
interesting times ahead!

John Bennett Ramsey has also filed his own lawsuit against CBS, alleging that they televised a “sham investigation” that was filled with “half-truths.”
John Bennett Ramsey is seeking $350 million in damages largely based on the intentional omission of facts in the CBS series.

Judge won't dismiss $750M defamation suit by JonBenet Ramsey's brother

By Charlie Brennan

01/05/2018

"A $750 million defamation lawsuit by Burke Ramsey against the CBS Corporation over a 2016 documentary about the murder of his sister, JonBenet Ramsey, will go forward after a judge's ruling Friday that the complaint should not be dismissed.
Michigan 3rd Circuit Court District Judge David Groner issued a six-page ruling Friday denying a motion by CBS and other defendants in the suit asking that he toss the case out.
In a separate ruling, he also denied a defense motion asking that a separate $150 million complaint filed by Burke Ramsey against Werner Spitz, a pathologist who participated in the documentary, be dismissed."

Judge won't dismiss $750M defamation suit by JonBenet Ramsey's brother

By Charlie Brennan

01/05/2018

"In addition to the two suits filed by Burke Ramsey against both CBS and separately against Spitz, John Ramsey, JonBenet's father, also filed a defamation suit in October against CBS and the other defendants also targeted by Burke Ramsey.

CBS has countered with a motion to dismiss John Ramsey's suit, but that motion has yet to be argued."

Maybe CBS has evidence or witness and they really want to go to court. There was something cut from the special. Can you imagine the ratings from the trial?
