Not blaming them is a start, but we need to respect them and treat them with dignity the way we would treat any human being. We need to let go of hate, prejudice, and fear. We're better than that.

Personally no, because I judge individuals not groups, so I respect and afford dignity to people not the groups they are attached to or the flags they fly, so I do not have to give weight to anyone's religion, but I do very much respect each human being that is deserving of respect. I don't know if it sounds like I'm babbling, but I don't put much stock into ANY organized religions. Also, America separates religion and State, most of what I am researching regarding Islam leaves no room for patriotism, just divine law. So sorry if I sound like a bigot or whatever. I am a peaceful person who believes all individuals have a right to a peaceful, free life with ZERO interference. Tolerance? Yes! Ignorance? No!

I hate our new reality too. This depresses the heck out of me:

Omg, this article just makes me want to cry. It reinforces the fact that while we responsible adults can argue our beliefs until the cows come home, our children will be the ultimate victims if we don't straighten out some pretty serious world issues. Depressed.

I don't think you can collect life insurance if someone dies during the commission of a crime. Especially a mass murder.

The mom has about 65k in the bank I believe. And her other son has a good job and a home. And the baby is going to be adopted. So she has plenty to keep her stable. I just wish we knew how involved she was or wasn't.

It's gotta be about finding HOW they are being RADICALIZED. WHO is recruiting them. And WHERE.
I'm thinking alot is done online. Alot in Mosques.... Maybe a rogue Muslim. Uses the Mosque as a way in to target individuals. But the Feds.CSI.LE, are gonna have to get busy. Cuz there's a big trail to find.
Maybe as BO stated or who ever it was. About starting up an ISIS unit. A section of LE and relevant departments specialising in searching out and acting on Perps who take action on USA soil. Any act against the country you reside in imo should be classed as Treason. No ifs or buts.

I would be more interested in an invention that could stop an intruder with a gun at the door, not something that can stop bullets once he's inside.
