Sheriff’s officials and a worried mother are asking the public’s help in finding a 32-year-old Walnut woman with medical problems who went missing on Tuesday.

Blair Ilana Presser was last seen Tuesday on Valley Boulevard in Walnut and may have boarded a bus, according to Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials and the woman’s mother, Barbara Cohen.

She has been in contact with her family via cellphone only one time since, when she indicated she was lost, Cohen said in an email.

“The phone may have run out of battery,” the mother added. “She is mentally ill and diabetic and is (in) desperate need of her medication.”

Sheriff’s officials are investigating the case as an “at-risk missing person,” Lt. David Buckner said.

Presser had no money or identification with her when she left home, according to Cohen.

She’s described as white, 5 feet 2 inches tall, about 160 pounds, with brown shoulder-length hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing purple leggings, a red long-sleeve shirt with a beige shirt over it and white slippers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s Walnut Diamond Bar Station at 626-913-1715.

She may be scared and hiding somewhere. Hopefully she'll be seen or go to a shelter or hospital.

Blair was found in El Monte per her mother and some friends. It sounds like she is in rough shape but no additional info on her condition beyond that.

*whew* Thanks for the update Roadette. I'll keep an eye out for MSM reports.
