Infant carseats are large/somewhat awkward to carry sometimes, especially if you're in a hurry- I suppose if child safety is a concern of this kidnapper, it's not odd that he would bring one with him, already installed in the vehicle. Odd that he chose to bring it in with him, empty, to the apartment, strapped baby in, then brought baby in carseat to vehicle.

Would have made more sense and been easier to get away to just grab baby, get in car, then strap into the carseat, yes?

Yes, it would have been easier and quicker. I wonder if the report is wrong; that he didn’t bring the car seat. Has this been verified by LE?

Looks like it was captured from a nearby Ring camera. What I find interesting though is he parked a ways away from the apartment (not right out front, as he’s walking down a residential sidewalk with Brandon in the video) and he appears to be walking faster but not running, or fleeing quickly. He definitely had this planned and seemed to feel confident walking along that route.

Anyone know the name of the apartment complex?

This area has clusters of small complexes and parking is gnarly. You literally can’t park close most of the time.

ENDANGERED MISSING ADVISORY UPDATE: The possible suspect vehicle is a 2011 Silver Nissan Quest with CA license plate 7HWF353. There is a white circular sticker in the lower left corner of the rear window.

This was just posted by CHP 15 min ago and no more details are given.

There shouldn't be anything holding them back from an Amber Alert now that they have a possible vehicle.

The CHP has since deleted a tweet identifying a Nissan minivan as a "possible suspect vehicle" in the kidnapping, and SJPD has not confirmed the info.

Well this is interesting. Previous reports stated the family didn't recognize the man in the video, but now it is being reported that the grandmother was with the kidnapper on the same day it occurred?

I knew the whole situation seemed unlikely. Too planned. Dude with a baby carrier just waiting to kidnap a baby…. I have a few thoughts but I’ll wait for more info.

I don’t know how to link Twitter (lol) but from that post above it says SHE was with the grandmother…...@SanJosePD has a person of interest in custody - not arrest. She was someone who was with #BabyBrandon’s grandma Monday.
