Help wanted finding missing El Dorado County woman

The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help locating a woman who has been missing since Valentine’s Day.

Brooke Harris, 49, called her husband Thursday and was last seen by her daughter on Wednesday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Harris’ phone was later found in her home, where there was no evidence of foul play, authorities said.

Security cameras at the Red Hawk Casino in Placerville captured footage of Harris and her 2015 gray Toyota Highlander at around 4:30 p.m. on Valentine’s Day. She appeared to be alone, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Harris has not been in contact with her family.

Harris is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and about 140 pounds, with blond hair and green eyes, the Sheriff's Office said. Her Toyota Highlander’s California license plate is 7KDC011.

The Sheriff's Office asked anyone with information to contact dispatch at 530-621-6600.

The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in finding a woman who went missing on Valentine’s Day.

Brooke Harris, 49, was last seen Thursday in El Dorado Hills, according to a sheriff’s office Facebook post.

Harris is described as a white woman with blond hair and green eyes who drives a 2015 gray Toyota Highlander, the post said. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is being asked to call the sheriff’s dispatch center at (530) 621-6600

Brooke was last seen on the evening of February 13 by her daughter and made a phone call from her cell phone to her husband on the morning of February 14th. Brooke’s cell phone was later found in her residence and there was no evidence of foul play at the home.

Security cameras at Red Hawk Casino observed Brooke, apparently alone, and her vehicle later that day, at around 4:30 PM. Brooke has not been in contact with any of her family. If you see Brooke, or know where she may be, please contact EDSO. X1379

There is a interesting comment on the FB page above by YR. Good theory and explanation of why some may go missing/ghosting.

The update does not state if they saw her on video coming or going from the casino. Why do so many of these missing persons have a casino in the story? Hoping she is safe!
