L.A. Model Dead, Designer Friend in Critical Condition After Allegedly Being Dumped at Separate Hospitals

The death of model and aspiring actress Christy Giles has left her family desperate for answers after they say she was allegedly drugged and left outside of a hospital following a night out in Los Angeles.

The harrowing story unfolded on Nov. 13, according to a https://www.********.com/f/nxf97h-j...&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer set up by Giles' loved ones. Giles and her friend, designer Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola were last heard from on Friday after stepping out to party with friends in the area, ABC7 reported.

The states that nearly 12 hours later, on Saturday, Giles, 24, was found lifeless on a sidewalk of a hospital. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family alleges that three men in all black, masked in bandanas dropped Giles off, using a car "with license plates removed."

Two hours after Giles was discovered, the states that Cabrales-Arzola was allegedly dropped off at a different hospital. The designer is currently in critical condition and "remains on life support with no brain activity with little possibility of recovery," ABC7 reported.

Opening up about the situation further, Cilliers alleged to ABC7 that Cabrales-Arzola's toxicology report showed heroin in her system — which he explained is something neither woman would use voluntarily.

Jan Cilliers, Giles' photographer husband, told DailyMail.com neither woman would have taken those drugs voluntarily, and has been piecing together the women's movements in a desperate search to find the men he believes are responsible for his wife's death.

'My wife and her two girlfriends went out to an East LA party. They were hanging out and dancing, having a good time,' he said. 'They were going to go to an afterparty in the Hollywood Hills.

'Marcela took a liking to one of these guys. They all left together to go to this party in the Hollywood Hills. But they didn't end up going to that party at all. They ended up at these guys' houses. They left the East LA party at about 4:45am.'

Dusty Giles said that Cilliers had accessed her phone, and the last text message her daughter sent was at 5.38am on Saturday.

She told Cabrales-Arzola: 'Let's get out of here,' with the wide eyes emoji, Dusty said.

Cabrales-Arzola - who had only recently moved from Mexico to LA - replied 'Yes' and said she had called for an Uber.

'That's the last time we know that Christy was alive and able to move and do something of her own free will,' Dusty Giles told The Sun.

'The girls were obviously not speaking out loud in front of these guys, they were texting each other.

'I believe they drugged them to keep them and I believe they probably raped them.

'Maybe throughout the day they had to give them more and more to keep them subdued.

'These men had them for over 10 hours to clean them up and drop them off.

'If it was an accidental overdose, why not call 911?

'Why do you wait 10 hours until she is dead to fling her on a sidewalk, remove your license plates, obscure your face?

'It doesn't track, it's not logical.'

Cilliers told DailyMail.com he also fears his wife was sexually abused by an underground pornographer who he suspects could have injected her with heroin and filmed her.

He has identified the men who Giles and Cabrales-Arzola were last seen with before their bodies were horrifically discarded to police.

Cilliers said he knows who the women were with that night. He and Giles’ best friend said they have been receiving messages from other people sharing their own bad experiences with the men.

“I don’t know if we’ll ever get closure unless there’s justice against these men,” Sandy Evangelista Robinson said.

*edit*.. look at that text message it says " I'm in the kitchen let's do a line"... i wonder what the chances are that the line they thought was probably coke ended up being a fat line of heroin.. which would easily be enough to OD, someone who isn't a regular user .. its happened before MOO i know the husband is saying " injected" but in the same interview, he is saying they are waiting for the ME to do an autopsy.. maybe he just assumed injected because that's what most people think of with heroin

Upon listening to the video interview with Cilliers, he speculates that one of the girls hit it off with one of the guys, and Christy went along with her friend so that she wouldn't be left alone with these men. He said it was absolutely unlike his wife to get in a car with men she didn't know.

Heartbreaking. Makes her a bit of a hero in my eyes.

He said he has learned through friends of theirs that the girls wanted to go to an after party, and took a detour to the apartment where they died.

At 5:30 AM, her friend at the after party texted "Where are you?" and she never replied, or saw the text (read receipts were on.) The animals didn't dump Christy's body until 5 PM, so I hate to even speculate what they were doing with these dead women for 12 hours! 2 hours later they would dump Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola. So IF this was an overdose of both girls, why hang on to them so long?!

I do believe you are likely correct about the heroin/coke @PingTheRouter - but they killed them intentionally. This was no accident IMO.

Has anyone seen Christie’s cause of death reported? I did read that there were no bruises or injuries visible on her body, but I don’t want to assume she overdosed.

I was paywalled but reloaded the page and then I wasn't. The article doesn't say much we don't already know, beyond LAPD looking into similar cases. The LAPD update comes from NBC LA Nov 18.

There's another Independent article, free to read, from Nov 19, that includes an interview with Giles's mother, Dusty Leslie Giles.

“These men had my daughter’s body for over 10-12 hours. There’s no way my daughter would have spent 10-12 hours with unknown men,” she said, speculating that something more sinister was at play.

“I think that once they knew that [Christy and Hilda] had called an Uber and started to leave they subdued them, the only way to subdue my daughter would be to drug her or tie her up against her will. ...

I think they did sexual things to my daughter’s body and to Hilda. They had plenty of time to clean her up and drop her lifeless body at the hospital.”...

This US SUN piece, Nov 19, which includes interviews of neighbors of the apt where the two women spent the day, lends credibility to DLG's theory that the women were kept alive all day and abused:

The local resident, who asked not to be identified, told The Sun: “I heard someone moaning in pain for five, six or seven hours, all day on Saturday from [the guy's] apartment.

“I was wondering what it was because there are always very loud noises coming from that apartment. ...

Another neighbor, Joseph Nikravsh, 75, told The Sun: “A lot of people are upset with him already [apt renter], there are a lot of problems.

“He makes a lot of noise and there are always people coming and going from his place.”

Also included is a 2009 pic of the apt renter, with <modsnip>*advertiser censored* star Ron Jeremy, while attending the premier of the One-Eyed Monster. The ref to RJ is to bolster DLG's theory of hours of SA before dumping the women. Birds of a feather. It is not to imply RJ was involved.

Apparently LA is black tar heroin. East coast was white. Now it's all fentanyl. There's zero heroin. It gets mixed with animal tranquilizers. Thus you have "Tranq dope". You're a zombie within minutes.

These guys are real.......you know what's. If that was heroin or even fetty they simply needed narcan and could have saved those girls.

These guys nearly succeeded in getting away with making it look like junkies, but they made the mistake of 2 hospital drops in one night. The LAPD wouldn't have bothered looking into it as homicide otherwise. Got to wonder how many times before these guys have done this. Hopefully LE can bust this case wide open.
