Summary:
On Monday, June 1, 2020, deputies responded to a report of a missing Victorville couple, Devin Capitulo and Oscar Mendoza. Family and co-workers told deputies that the couple had not been seen or heard from since Saturday, May 30th when Oscar dropped their children off with a family member. Family and friends said this is unusual behavior for the couple as they are responsible and very involved parents.
Devin and Oscar are both employed full time and neither of them have reported to work or contacted their supervisors, nor have they made any attempt to contact family, friends or their children. Detectives searched the couples Victorville home and found nothing suspicious or any information that would lead them to Devin or Oscar.

Devin and Oscar are presumed to be together and are considered critical missing persons. Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is urged to contact the Victorville Station, Detective Rob Hoag at (760)241-2911 or Sheriff’s dispatch at (760)956-5001. Callers can remain anonymous and contact WeTip at 800-78-CRIME or www.wetip.com

If you go to FB and search through some friend's posts, Oscar also goes by a different last name as well. I have some Hispanic friends that use both their mother and father's surnames so that's not all that unusual.

Where is Victorville ? What state ?

California. It's in San Bernardino County. To me, it's not at all a pleasant area and this is not the first missing person case I've seen of late. It's at the edge of the desert, lots of people just "disappear" into that area. IMO.

On those crime rate sites, it's in the 16th %ile - not good.

ET correct County - it's near L.A. It's on the way to Vegas.

They were last seen in Lynwood, dropping off kids at Oscar's parents house.

Sorry, I missed the CA at the beginning. Thank you 10ofRods for responding.

Sounds very worrying. Could they have been doing some business close to the border and something went wrong? Or did they hit trouble sooner and someone took their car and then crossed over the border? Not meant to pass aspersions on their character. JMO
