GOOD, as it should be. Per The Death Penalty... JMO
Too bad California doesn't actually use it.

He doesn't have any redeeming qualities that I can see. His greed led him to kill an innocent couple, well-loved in the community, and their five year old little girl. I definitely think he'll get the Death Penalty.

Yes, unfortunately, the Death Penalty means nothing in California.

Not to be picky or anything - but shouldn't the thread title have "Arrest" in it, and be in the "Awaiting Trial" section? :dunno:

I wonder if there are no news updates because of that gag order. The below news article is from September 2017. I couldn't find any updates from the December hearing. Hope this goes to trial sometime this year.

Suspect in Triple-Murder Case Pleads Not Guilty, Santa Barbara Judge Issues Gag Order
    https://www.noozhawk.com/article/su...eads_not_guilty_santa_barbara_judge_gag_order

I get the feeling Haobsh has a high opinion of himself and might have an over-inflated ego regarding his own intelligence, but he seems to have such a cold demeanor. I think it would've been like shooting himself in the foot if he represented himself. Too bad he decided not to represent himself.

To be continued sometime in 2018.

In December he waived his trial to April. Anyone find anything on a court date? I've looked in the Superior Court Santa Barbara calendar, but I've gone thru April 2 thru June 15 and don't see his name anywhere. Am I looking in the right place? This is the link I'm using:

    TIA!

Well, that's strange. As I said I looked thru the court site and didn't find him, but it looks like he had a hearing this past Friday, the 13th.

Han Family Murder Case Continued to July in Santa Barbara Superior Court
    https://www.noozhawk.com/article/ha...inued_to_july_in_santa_barbara_superior_court

Triple-murder suspect Pierre Haobsh briefly appeared in Santa Barbara County Superior Court on Friday as attorneys discussed minor changes to the transcripts of previous hearings.
    [.....]
Haobsh has been ordered to stand trial for three counts of first-degree murder and special allegations in the case, and the District Attorney’s Office intends to pursue the death penalty.
    [.....]
Judge Brian Hill continued the case to July after a brief hearing Friday.

and of course, they give us no date for July.... :gaah:

Well, for some reason I can't actually search by his name anymore (access denied!), I have to look at the Criminal court calendars. I don't see him on there thru 8/10.

If anyone has any luck into getting his actual dockets - please post if there is a date!
    TIA!
