It has been over a year since Heather Leann Cameron, 28 year old, mother of three young girls, disappeared from Keswick Dam on the Sacramento River in Shasta County.

Sadly, on the afternoon of August 18th, 2012, Heather called 911 pleading for help. Heather reported she had been drugged with heroin and was lost on foot near the Keswick Dam.

Immediately, search and rescue efforts were made around Keswick Dam and the Chappie-Shasta OHV area, both on the ground and by helicopter, but Heather was never located.

Although Heather was not living with her husband, Shaun Cameron, at the time of her disappearance, it is unlike her to go without seeing her children. Heather’s last visit with her children took place on her birthday, August 11th, just one week before she went missing.

Heather Cameron will be approaching her 30th birthday this year, 2014. She was born on August 11, 1984. She has brown hair, brown eyes and several tribal tattoos. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 115 lbs. She drives a grey, Chevy half-ton, 4-door pickup.

Heather Cameron is considered missing under suspicious circumstances. Anyone with information relating to this case should contact the Shasta County Sheriffs Office at 530-245-6000.

We wanted to go back to day one and have a discussion about Heather's disappearance. The day she had called 911 saying she required medical attention, and the voice or voices of a man/men were heard in the background. Anything is welcome, we know alot of you have old but very useful and helpful information. Even anything you might have heard as a rumor or something that you might not think could help just might be the thing we need to bring justice for Heather. We would like everyone to comment message or call the tipline with any tips you may have. Even if they've already been turned in.
Please join us in our discussion as we seek justice for Heather!

Article from June 20, 2014. A little bit more background on the case and Heather. Says about a month after her disappearance, her food stamps card was found near Coram Ranch Road, near Trail 3, which is a detail I hadn't heard before.
From Keswick Dam Road to Coram Ranch Road is about 21 minutes (11.2 miles/18.025 kilometers) by car.

It is sad that there is not more information on Heather's case, nor the many women missing from the area around Redding, CA. The circumstances under which Heather called 911 are alarming. Being drugged with heroin would make it hard to walk I would think. I wonder if she was attacked at that location. Keswick dam is a public location and there is a chance that if the local news stations and newspapers had stories about Heather & other missing Shasta Co. women, members of the public might remember seeing something weird at the dam that day. There could be other women in Shasta County who have escaped a similar scenario (being drugged) and might decide to provide an anonymous tip. We need to get these Redding cases back in the spotlight. Heather's family deserve to have answers, and the person(s) responsible need to be locked up.
