Could be. I see alot of similarities. She looks more like the B&W sketch than the color recon. Her face seems a little broader at the temples, and her nose looks different. But I wouldn't pass on her based on those things.

She has similarly triangular eyebrows, thick lips, and similar chin. Also, the fact that her case is being handled by the Human Trafficking Unit would seem consistent with the prostitution component of the UID's case.

Atia's picture appears to me to be some sort of mugshot. if that's the case then LE should have her fingerprints. Atia is not in Namus and the fingerprint info for the UID is ambiguous.

This UID was clearly vulnerable, family members haven't turned up locally despite media attention, so my hunch is that the UID is possibly a runaway from another state, if not CA.

I think it's a Massachusetts driver's license photo. Mine has the same background.

The missing persons report, according to Charley Project, was filed with the Alachua County Sheriff's Office, 352-955-1818.

It could be fortuitous that she was arrested - she was definitely fingerprinted in that case, and the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office will have them on file. The number listed on their website is (904) 630-0500.

She might not be in NAMUS - a lot of counties haven't submitted their MP and UIDs - it's not required by law to.

does anyone on this thread have contact with the LE in charge of the UID case? Are there any other identifying markers - skeletal fractures, medical conditions, tattoos, dental conditions? Since they have a recognizable face and it was a murder case, I would hope they did an autopsy that would garner more clues than just her height, weight, and race? Just trying to find exceptionally tall missing black girls and women amongst hundreds of profiles of missing black women is like a needle in a haystack for me right now, and I wish we had more to go on than that.

On September 5, 2009, the body of an unidentified female was found in a parking lot of the 1800 block of Kettering Street in Irvine, California. The decedent had been deceased less than 24 hours. She had short, brown curly hair that was approximately 3 inches in length. She had one piercing hold in each ear and was found wearing a black camisole blouse, a black skirt, multi-colored animal print undershorts and size 10 black open-toe high heels with multiple black straps across the front closed with a metal zipper (“GLAZE” brand). The decedent is believed to have been in her teens to early twenties and was described as tall and slender. The reconstruction featured above is an artist’s rendering of what the Jane Doe may have looked like. The additional photo has been enhanced to aid in visual identification and may not reflect the original case file image.

A murder trial has begun for one of two brothers charged in the grisly 2009 slaying of a woman whose body was found dumped and burned in an Irvine parking lot - though the woman herself has yet to be identified...

The men are being tried separately. Gabino Baldivia-Guzman, who was allegedly behind the wheel of the van while the killing was taking place in the rear, will be tried at a later time.

Lakendra Powers, Greta Tim and Breanna Sharp were found deceased.

Jasmine Cathey was found safe in 2011.

Stefanie Mills sounds quite a bit more petite than Jane Doe (5'6" and 110 lbs, compared to 6' and 152 lbs) and the distance is rather far.

Ayellah Marshall is also quite petite compared to Jane Doe (5'6" and 95 - 120 lbs). Ayellah also has several tattoos and Jane Doe isn't mentioned as having any (although not sure if they could see them even if they were there, since her body was burned). Ayellah is most likely a victim of the Grim Sleeper but her body hasn't been found.

Irene Kouame seems like more of a possibility, based on size / location. She sadly has no identifiers though, so it would be tough to figure out if she's a match.
