*Pretrial Conference Hearing (@ 8:30am PT) – CA - Jackson Telnas (12) & Jacob Ray, Jr. (7) (Jackson drowned, June 29, 2019, Porterville; Jacob was in critical condition, but died July 7, 2019) - *Sherri Renee Telnas (45/now 49) arrested & charged (6/29/19) & arraigned (7/2/19) & re arraigned (4/26/21) with 2 counts of homicide, 1 count of gassing & 1 count resisting arrest. Plead not guilty. Held without bond. DA will seek DP.
Trial was set to begin on 1/15/21 continued on 10/16/23.

@Niner The pretrial conference hearing yesterday was heard and a Pretrial Conference was set for 6/28/23 at 8:30 am. The trial confirmation is still on calendar for 10/12/23 at 8:30 am as is the Jury Trial on 10/16/23 at 10:00 am. I’ll update you on 6/29.

@Niner The pretrial conference hearing yesterday was heard and a Pretrial Conference was set for 6/28/23 at 8:30 am. The trial confirmation is still on calendar for 10/12/23 at 8:30 am as is the Jury Trial on 10/16/23 at 10:00 am. I’ll update you on 6/29.

I would love to know if you have any idea why they allowed her to have custody of Jackson after she tried to kill him the first time.

Hello there. Their father didn't dispute her motion to be granted full custody of Jackson. When he moved to Montana he became mostly detached from the boys and had to be prompted to contact them. I do think he loves them but he is very much an out of sight out of mind type of person in all aspects of his life. I suspect he has a personality disorder but I can't be sure of that. He tends to be violent toward women, I am positive about this, so I suspect that he had been violent toward Sherri at times but I do not know that for sure. If that was the case however I can't imagine it helped her mental state throughout the years.
