Deceased/Not Found CA - Kristin Smart, 19, San Luis Obispo, 5/25/1996 *Guilty* #4

It will affect media access. The media need to sign agreements with consequences. MOO the jurors should be able to sue, and keep their identities private while suing.
As peers of jurors all citizens should be able to see the fulfilling jury service needs to be as safe as possible for jurors. A system of transparent justice does not include exposing jurors publicly to what ever.
Some speak out as their right others should enjoy the right to be shielded from media scrutiny.

MOO Probably the hardest thing for the jury weighing is the negligence contribution for delayed evidence of the CalPoly Police into beyond a reasonable doubt.
I am convinced.
ANY souvenir does it.

@Niner they are deliberating daily from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm but they have lunch breaks and other breaks
Also as I mentioned court is dark Monday - We3dnesday for this week it was pre-planned as the trial was supposed to last at least until mid October

Thank you for the times that they deliberate. So my calculation they deliberate ~6 1/2 hours a day. 8:30-4:30 is 8 hours minus an hour for lunch. 7 hours minus 2-15 min break - to 6 1/2 hours. Hopefully they will start eating lunch while they deliberate! LOL!
I shall change my notes on the times.

And yes - I have the dark days on my notes. Thanks again! :)

I dislike the idea of that long break in deliberations. It just seems to be a huge opportunity for the jury members to be harassed or something to happen to cause a mistrial.

I agree - it is a long time for the jury to be out when they could be deliberating. Not much we can do... but wait... patiently....
