    The Madera County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing at-risk adult.

    69 year-old Leonardo Chaidez was last seen around 7:30 am on May 20, 2019. His last known whereabouts were in the area of Avenue 13 and Road 29 in Madera County. Leonardo left his residence on Yucca Road in Madera County and has not been seen by his family since. He is a dementia patient who is enrolled in MCSO’s Operation Lost and Found program.

    Leonardo is a 69 year old Hispanic male adult, with grey hair and brown eyes, 5’7” tall, and 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black or green jacket, black tennis shoes, and a baseball cap.

    A missing at-risk man has been found safe.

    Farmworkers found 69 year-old Leonardo Chaidez this morning in a rural area of Madera County. The Madera County Sheriff's office says heappears to be in good condition. He was taken to the hospital for further evaluation as a precaution.

    The Madera County Sheriff’s Office says it would like to thank the public and local media for their assistance and widespread sharing of information to bring attention to this case.
