Could she possible be this woman found in Riverside that same year?

There are no rule-outs for the Riverside UID, however it doesn't mention anything about two toes, or deformity of toes. (And the remains were in good condition to see that).
I still hope someone will submit this match-- even if it just helps to get one rule-out and get Marion's picture up on her profile.

Her photo you found should be put on Namus sooner rather than later.Perhaps someone can contact them again, I live in Canada and don't know how to submit this matter but some here are good at sending and contacting the relevant people.[/QUOTE]

This looks like a real possibility! Although, as someone mentioned here, it does not mention the toe deformity. Apparently exhaustive investigation has been done. And yes, it would be good to followup by someone who knows how to here, as other than the toes, there is the fact that the body was found about 17 days after Marion went missing. Plus she was found about 1 1/2 hours drive from where Marion was supposed to be staying, fits the time frame, plus there are some similarities in facial features, and the hairstyle in the high school photo from 5 years prior is similar to one in the UID's.

No disrespect, but is there any suspected drug use or prostitution? A group I am in is investigating potential victims of a former police officer turned drug dealer/escort service provider/serial killer.

Found this is a group. Delete if not allowed. Sorry for the graphic post! A young lady around that age was found in California that looks somewhat similar.

❤LOOK AT THIS YOUNG WOMAN!!❤

I was found on October 14, 1977 laying in
the street in the 3700 block of West 106th Street in Inglewood, California.

They found me early in the morning.

I had passed on about 3 hours before they found me.

My cause of death is unlisted.

They think I was 20 - 30 years old when I died.
I was 5' 1"-5' 5" , estimated and weighed 124 pounds.

I had a tattoo "KCSR+M" and one on my left hand they couldn't make out, except the letter "L".

I also had irregular shaped scars on both my shins with a linear scar to back of my right upper arm.

Do you know me? Does someone remember me? Is my family looking for me? It's been 43 years and no one knows who I am, no one came for me, no one claimed me.

Please share my story and help me find my way home. ❤

i really hope someone will send in this possible, i dont know best way to do it.
The best way to do it is through NamUs. They have people you can email on each profile. The more info, pictures and links the better. It makes their jobs a little easier.

IM Canadian and it seems i cant register as they require a zip code and doesn't seem to work with my area code of 6 numerals/letters. Hopefully someone who is American can do so or i could try again later.

I have sent another request to add her picture. I have sent it to the current sheriff (Robert T. Doyle) of the Marin County Sheriff department and also have added that several requests have been made to NamUs since 2019 and it still has not been added. Hope it helps.

I am from The Netherlands and just looked up an address of a police department in the US and added that as my address. Works like a charm ;)
