VACAVILLE, CA- A 9-month-old baby is in critical condition Saturday night after suffering serious head injuries, authorities said.

    ...........................
The infant's mother, Colleen Hernandez, 28, was at the hospital at the time the detectives arrived. Detectives with the Family Investigative Response Services Team interviewed Hernandez and her husband, Michael Hernandez, 32, and discovered they have a history of reported child abuse and prior arrests which involved their two older children, Quatman said.

I hope these baby beaters don't get to see this baby boy again either, MorenoI...sounds like he improved - going from unresponsive to stable condition...bless his heart.

The child had multiple skull fractures and was unresponsive, Quatman said.
The boy was transferred to the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento and was initially listed in critical condition, but was in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit Thursday, Quatman said.
    ..............................
Quatman said the Hernandezes were arrested in June for felony child endangerment of their three-year-old son. The boy also suffered head injuries, Quatman said.

The Hernandez couple also relinquished parental rights of their five-year-old son who has since been adopted, Quatman said.

Ganz said he argued for the six-year term for Michael Hernandez, who has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair, but he considers the four-year sentence reasonable.

Wow he was in a wheelchair and caused that kind of damage!
