Noah was last seen near Temescal Canyon Road in Corona, Ca. At the beginning of March. His father was arrested on suspicion of child abuse and was found in his apartment with his 14 year old daughter but Noah was missing.

Well, yes. But I don't think (at this point) she knows what the dad with him.
There's a lot of open land nearby.

*Sentencing Hearing (@ 7:30am PT) – CA – Noah McIntosh (8) (last seen about Feb. 24, 2019, reported missing Mar. 12, 2019, Corona; not found yet) – for *Jillian Marie Godfrey (36/now 38) “mother” arrested (3/13/19), charged (3/15/19) & arraigned (4/15/19) with felony willful child cruelty (endangerment). Plead not guilty. $500K bond.
Godfrey says 3/2/19 is the last time she saw Noah. 11 yr. old daughter in CPS custody.

10/24/19 Update: Next hearing on 11/15. 11/15/19: Next hearing on 12/18. 12/19/19: Godfrey plead guilty to 2 counts of child cruelty/endangerment, plea deal has been sealed. Sentencing hearing on 4/3/20.
4/3/20 Update: Due to coronavirus sentencing hearing has been continued. Will be after April 17th per court site. Rescheduled for 6/2. 6/2/20 Update: Sentencing was rescheduled to 7/2/20. And tomorrow 7/3 is her 38th birthday!
7/2/20 Update: Sentencing might have been rescheduled to 10/15/20.
*Bryce Daniel McIntosh (32/now 34) “father” – Pretrial hearing on 10/23/20.

Charged (3/28/19) & arraigned (4/3/19) with 1st degree murder with malice & special circumstance murder of torture. Plead not guilty. No bond (was $1M bond). Eligible for DP.

As Godfrey's plea has been sealed, I think she may have accepted a plea bargain in exchange for her admission of guilt and the time she's spent in prison may be the only time she had to serve. If she was going to be sentenced, I doubt she would have been released.

As she's been released on her own recognizance, this means no bail money is paid to the court, a bond hasn't been posted and she's been released after promising in writing to appear in court for all upcoming proceedings. It's possible that part of any plea deal could include testifying against Bryce.

All the above is speculation on my part.

In Oz, some of our States have a "no body, no parole" law. I wish it was a universal law because it would give so much peace of mind to families who have to spend the rest of their lives wondering where their loved ones are.
