A Sunday school teacher has been arrested after the body of 8-year old Sandra Cantu was found in a suitcase pulled from a pond.

Melissa Huckaby, 28, was arrested at 11:55 p.m. Friday on suspicion of murder and kidnapping after voluntarily going to police for questioning nearly five hours earlier, Tracy Police Sgt. Tony Sheneman said.

In the world of crimes against youngsters, it is surprising that a woman has been arrested as a suspect.
The article claims Sandra the deceased child, and her daughter we often playmates.
It will be interesting to find out how Sandy died and to watch this story unfold. Accidential? I dare not guess!

I might guess if it was an accident then why pack her body in a suite case and drop her in a retention pond? She was probably angry at something in relationship to her own daughter and her friend Sandra.
