SANTA ANA – Police are searching for a Santa Ana woman who disappeared two months ago.

Shirley Mae Cassel, 63, was last seen leaving a residence in the 3700 block of South Adler Street at 7 a.m. on Aug. 21, police said.

It is believed she took her white 2005, four-door Nissan with a California license-plate number of 6GLV341.

Two months? That leads me to believe she's done other disappearing acts and they are expected her to come home before the two month mark this time.

Hopefully when they find her car, they will find her.

I hope she's okay and just decided to get away for awhile and will eventually contact her family.

Shirley Mae is Episode 8 of the Kindle Vella series I am doing. There is no reason for her to have been out there at that location unless?? She possibly went there to commit suicide and her case shows that she was isolated prior to her death.
