NAMUS Unidentified Person Case

I'm so happy she is in Namus now....otherwise she would have fallen into the cracks, lost on the Yosemite National Park site, where I found this UID. Did you put her into Namus Romulus or did CarlK. do it? Whoever did....Great and thanks!

Lori Lloyd? Missing since 1976, 13 years old at the time, would have been 20 in 1983, 5'3". Because Lori had a history of running away, including some arrests, police initially did not take the case seriously. But she never really ran away, according to her family, just stayed at friends houses. There was initially some reason to believe she might have left voluntarily. Lori’s friends reported at the time that she wanted to go to California and live with her father.

Facial reconstruction images show an unidentified homicide victim. She was a white female age 20-23 with a narrow face and a slight overbite.

NPS image.

Name: Jane Doe - Yosemite Summit Meadow

Location: Yosemite National Park

Date: Fall of 1981 to Spring of 1983

Suspect Info: Henry Lee Lucas (deceased)

Case Info: The partial remains of a homicide victim were found in Yosemite National Park's Summit Meadow along Glacier Point Road in 1983.
NPS investigators determined that Henry Lee Lucas had information about the murder that had not been made public and could only be known by the person who committed the crime. Lucas died in prison in 2001. Special Agents with the NPS Investigative Services Branch continue to investigate this case in hopes of identifying the victim.
Lucas had told investigators that he picked up the woman between Fresno, California and Yosemite National Park along California Highway 41 in the fall of 1981.
The woman was a white female that Lucas described as 5'05" to 5'06" tall with long, straight blonde to light brown hair. She weighed about 100-125 pounds, and wore silver rings on both hands.
Lucas estimated her age as between 17-20 years of age, but a forensic anthropologist placed her between 20-23 years of age at the time of her death. She was of European ancestry, had a slight overbite, and a long, narrow face.
The images are from a facial reconstruction of a skull without a lower jaw. The chin is generic and the hair could be any style. If you have information that could help investigators identify this young homicide victim, please contact us.

Stacy Ann Arras went missing in Yosemite National Park in California in 1981. She is not listed in NamUs but here’s a link to her profile on the Charley Project:
Stacy Ann Arras – The Charley Project

Many things fit with this Jane Doe, although Stacy was only 14, so she’s a bit younger than the esitimated age range and she had braces before so the Jane Doe’s slight overbite isn’t a perfect fit.

Thanks, this recon is much better then the one we had. It's clear they compensated for the "exceptionally long and narrow face for a woman" she supposed to have had.

I forgot to pinpoint the fact that they didn't find her jaw bone, so this is an estimate. I think that's relevant.
