Okay .. ^^ I think the punctuation is lacking and the surnames appear before the Christian names, so A and D relate to the G surname preceding. Means BJ and LS do NOT share the surname. Whew ... government records are annoying.

Ah yes! You are right.

Not sure if this has been posted before... Evansburg connection. I wonder if the company is on the land purchased by AL and AL

Wesland Modular Homes is a family-owned and operated business since 1996, started by Al and Fern Liknes. In 2012 Al and Fern’s son Lucas came on as a partner, and is currently Manager of Operations.

Yes, it's in the list of items to add in an upcoming revision which should be within the next 24 hrs. Am off today

Thanks! Can you also add this? In January 2010, he received a $575 fine for failing to yield to a pedestrian in Airdrie.

Hmm ... if you go to this link:

http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...-Legal-Descriptions+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ca

and do a Ctrl+F for Box 3, Site 12

it will bring up DG's mailing addy within a mish-mash of other mailing addys. If you look at the paragraph immediately preceding that one, the G surname appears there with different Christian names we haven't heard before. So, is DG using a mailing address for another set of relatives where he runs his businesses from?
Oh my word SillyBilly, do you see that the parents have been given the F surname that was my married name? This is very curious. Perhaps the typist just put the commas in the wrong place? Have now sleuthed DF and TF - turns out they are realtors.

Some have wondered what the parents of the accused are doing. It sounds like they are not even going to church anymore ... perhaps unable to face people in light of what their son has done.

"My prayer is that the Garlands will return to our worshipping community at a time when they are ready and that will be received with grace and love.

There has been much conversation about the need to end, to have closure, to move on from this tragedy, to have justice done. What people don’t seem to realize is that is not always possible. The O’Brien, Liknes, and Garland families have a sadness torn in their souls a mile wide."

This is probably grasping at straws but this weekend as we were driving down rural roads in Southern Alberta we noticed many Hutterite colonies. I know there are a few in the Airdrie area. What I noticed was they have their own large burn pit usually partially fenced. Could it be possible for DG to drive to one at night and put his bags etc in their pit? Would they even notice? Would a truck like his have running lights or not? In the middle of the night he might never be noticed. Perhaps he is even familiar with a few colonies having lived there most of his life. Just throwing a crazy idea out there, kind of new at this.

Maybe, but he was burning his own fire and his time was probably tight. I think he was burning his clothes and left over items. I really do not want to believe he burned bodies.

They would surely notice. The colonies are very secure and very closed off. They have excellent security on the colonies including but not limited to video surveillance. I'm certain that a hutterite would be out to address a "visitor" within a minute of crossing the gate at any hour. The colonies do not like uninvited visitors.

Can anyone zoom in really tight on this pic - I swear I can see a wedding band on the ring finger of the visible hand?image.jpg

IMO, their bodies have been placed down a well or simply placed somewhere in a field/side of road.

We know that DG's truck was not likely capable of 4x4ing to the recovery location.

LE feels sure they will recover the families remains, as they stated at the presser.

Despite all the indications of chemicals, machinery, etc., I am following the KISS methodology for 'disposal' here.

The didn't care once he accomplished his planned goal of killing BOTH Liknes'. For revenge, no doubt.

I would not be surprised to learn that the family has been placed in a location between their home in Calgary and Airdrie.

Do we know what other unsolved cases LE is looking at with respect to Garland?

Why Helena's case? Did DG have something of hers on his person? JMO

Global News has learned that investigators are now seeing if he has links to any other violent crimes, which experts say is common in cases like this.
“If you have unsolved crimes and you have no idea who might have done them, then you have an individual who you suspect is capable of doing a range of very violent actions, then it makes sense,” says forensic psychologist Dr. Perry Sirota. “There might be a fit between what this person is suspected of doing, because of course it’s alleged now and it might fit with a pattern of crimes that remain unsolved.”

One of the cases being looked at is the death of Helena Mihaljevic. The 32-year-old was found dead in a rural area near Airdrie in 2007, nearly a year after she went missing.

The remains found May 13 by two girls walking in the area just off of Range Road 280 and Symons Valley Road

I hope LE is searching near the recovery location of Helena, at Range Road 280 and Symons Valley Road.

JMO

ETA - Could Helena's remains have been recovered at Township Road 280 - I don't see an intersection here. We need precised details of where her remains were found. Kind of interesting, how they think Helena was at the Stampede prior to her going missing, and also, her cell phone and MSN Messenger account were active after she disappeared.

I did find older threads where this subject has been brought up. A reporter would not indicate that case without just cause. JMO

I have a hunch that Helena was acquainted with DG somehow.

Here is a link that LoisLane posted back in thread #10 about someone named Mihaljevc placing flowers at the Liknes home.

Of course it's a small world and maybe it was just a random person with the same last name.

when did everyone (canucks) sign up for their S.I.N? I always found it odd that DG signed up for his when he was 20,, why the delay, I think I was 11 or 12 when I did in school. Why did DG opt out till later?
