OPP have mounted a massive search effort, including the use of canine units, to find a nine-year-old boy, missing since yesterday near Parry Sound.
Everett Freeman, of Seguin Township, was camping with his family in Totem Pole Bay on Huckleberry Island on the waters of Georgian Bay.
He was last seen at approximately 3 p.m. on Aug. 12 and is described as:.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Everett Freeman is urged to contact their local OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
The West Parry Sound detachment of the OPP is being helped by three canine Units, the OPP Emergency Response Team, Marine Unit, OPP Aviation Services and the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit.
Also assisting in the search are McDougall Township and Carling Township fire departments, Canadian Coast Guard and Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre.
