I can't believe one family is so entangled with the law and she would even say anything at this point
The sister of a man being sought for the killing of an 18-year-old Londoner as he tried to retrieve a cellphone is calling for people to wait before judging.
“I know my brother and one thing he is not is a murderer,” Maha Sultan wrote on her public Facebook page on the weekend.
“But I myself do not know (the) full story just like everyone else in the world. I just hate how people are so quick to judge without knowing the full story . . . Who are you to judge him? God? You people have no right to judge . . . “
Maha Sultan, who declined an interview request, appealed to the family of victim Jeremy Cook, 18, saying her “heart reaches out” to them.
“We are hurt for the young boy who lost his life, we are hurt because we don’t know what’s going on,” she wrote. “We are all praying for the answers and at the end of the day justice will be served here but the last judgment will come from Allah himself.”
