Stumbled onto this missing person and was surprised at how little information i could find in order to start this thread, wish there was more to post.

Perhaps I can help, were you able to find anything else? Newspaper articles? Tv report? my father and grandmother shielded me from it
Supposedly his friend Sam was with him also never seen again. Any info on a Sam from the same time?
Jojo was seen with some of the Dubois brothers from south shore, they are notorious criminals w many unsolved murder cases

I don’t know Sams full name and it was only a few years ago that my father mentioned it to me, he was from St-Leonard anglophone but bilingual
At some point my family just completely stopped talking about the case, he’s not expected to ever be found, definitely not alive (imo)
I’d like to see the official police reports from 1979

He had brown eyes not green
I had always heard that he was 24 when he vanished (imo)

The profile says brown eyes, does it not?

I also thought that this was that same john doe. I even submitted a tip to see if it might be him. The medical examiner is going to call me back... but I guess it isn't him.

I only looked here afterwards....

I hope you find him and get closure wherever he may be.

Now that the AB medical examiner is going to give them a call to see if it matches with the tip I submitted, combine that with your phone call and it will likely get their butts in gear!

I was referring to the missing persons dossier, it says green eyes, Im almost positive he had brown eyes.
The man from the car accident was wearing a wedding band, Joseph wasn’t married, trust me it’s not him, we have an idea what happened, there was a major investigation that went on for years, we hired PIs. He had no connection to Alberta. Someone knows what happened to him, at this point most witnesses are gone. Thank you for your interest

Yes, I realized after messaging the medical examiner in Alberta and looking on here that it's likely not him. I was just stating that with calls coming about him. That might get their butts in gear to actually investigate what actually did happen. I wish you luck!

I had never seen that case profile on the SPVM missing persons chronology and I’ve looked, perhaps after I contacted them, someone there decided to publish it. I was talking to a friend about my long lost uncle n he pulled that up, then I found this
