''Police say there is "growing concern" for a woman who's been missing more than two months.

Laura Nazarek was last heard from on April 13, according to the New Westminster Police Department.

In a news release Monday, the NWPD said she hasn't had any contact with her friends since then, something that is unusual for the 40-year-old.''


''Officers did not provide any details on her circumstances beyond how long she's been missing, and that "as time passes there is growing concern for her safety."

''The missing woman has been described as white and 5'8", with shoulder-length blond hair and tattoos on her shoulders and chest.

She's estimated to weigh about 160 pounds, and is known to spend time in New Westminster and Richmond

Officers ask anyone who knows where she is to call 911 immediately.

Those with information that may help track her down are told to call the NWPD at 604-525-5411.''

New West police seek assistance finding missing women

New Westminster police searching for two women missing since April 13 and June 21

“Ms. Nazarek has been known to frequent New Westminster and Richmond,” said NWPD spokesperson Sgt. Justine Thom in a news release. “We’re asking that anyone who knows the whereabouts of Ms. Nazarek to call 911 right away.”

The NWPD is also seeking the public’s assistance in the search for missing person Christelle Petroz, who was last seen on Tuesday, June 21 in the 600 block of Third Avenue.


“She is new to the Lower Mainland and does not know the area,” said a NWPD press release. “She does not have access to a vehicle and is unfamiliar with the local transit system.”

Petroz is described as a Caucasian female, standing 5’8″ tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. She has blue eyes and shoulder-length brown hair.

“Ms. Petroz may appear lost and there is growing concern from her health care team about her well-being,” Thom said. “Please make note of the appearance of Ms. Petroz and call 911 without delay if you see her.”
