Screen shots of Madison's parents' investigative efforts from the 48 Hours: Highway of Tears. Does anything stand out now that we know where she was found?
Can you elaborate on where you found the details on the name of the property owner ?

The property was identified on a Global News video.

With that information, we can find the property here

Additional details are found here

I have not searched for the name of the property owner, as we do not yet know whether the owners of the property have any connection to Madison or the birthday party where she disappeared.

The owner's sons were at the party.

To get the owner you can do a BC Assessment search - as someone above has done.

Which gives you a Parcel Identifier Number of:
015-262-359

That you can enter into the Land Title Survey Authority (and pay fee) which will give you the title.

It appears from title that it has been owned by the same person since 1996. The last name of the owner is on the board shown in the 48hours show.

The title has a Certificate of Pending Litigation - showing someone who has the same first initial and last name as someone on the board is claiming an interest in it.

The Court Services Online can be searched here (also for a fee):

That in no way says that the Owner or the possible family members/litigants had anything to do with anything. This property is somewhat on the way back to the Highway, it looks like it has a body of water on it - it may have been a place to hide someone.

I am new here- and not quite sure of the boundaries- but I am somewhat local and have (like everyone along HWY 16) have always been troubled/bothered/haunted by this case.

I have done the LTO search and could post it, I have also pulled the statement of claim but am unsure of the rules of posing such things so I won't. It is basically a claim that due to promises made by a father and work done on the land, the son has an interest in the property not shown on title. This isn't uncommon.

the LTO is public record, as is the statement of claims. Nothing in the rules of the website are preventing you. No one here is assuming the guilt of the property owner or any connection to names on the Scott’s board. The connection if any between the property owner and the names on the board could be verified through a family tree

Unless someone is identified as a suspect by the RCMP, do not post the name of anyone, not even the name of the property owner. For now, all we know is that the body was found on private property.

I'm not sure. I am curious why Madison's parents put a red X next to some of the names.

Link for image is 48 Hours documentary posted upthread at roughly 11 minutes.

If true and IF involved, then RCMP really screwed up many years ago relying to much on their 'polygraphs'...... (I just can't stand that part in the documentary...)

And looks like they both left at 2:50, that was when the party ended.... I'm surprised we haven't heard about an arrest yet.

''Dr. Rob Gordon, Professor of Criminology at Simon Fraser University weighed in on the details of the case more specifically adding the discovery of Madison’s remains, and being able to positively identify being a major step in this case.

“I’d be surprised if, especially in light of the recovery of the remains, they weren’t able to begin to pinpoint a suspect. Presumably, it’s not a huge community and a lot of people would know the individuals involved, and especially people who have been there,” said Gordon. “We just sit now and watch, which is torturous for the family and I’m very sorry for their position, but there is nothing more that can be done at this point. If this investigation comes to a conclusion, it’s successful and they’ve got themselves burns elsewhere. They’re going to want to prosecute that person. So they’re exercising extreme care, not only in trying to recover useful evidence but also in trying to preserve that evidence so it’s usable in court.”

Gordon noted often the place of discovery can yield a lot of answers in itself, the longtime expert pointed out often those who dumped the body knew where they were going, what they were doing, and they scouted it out long before. Gordon said it is extremely uncommon for a body to randomly be dumped in a location.''

I'm curious whether the parents identified the most likely suspects in 2012 with a red X. I wonder what the red X means. The 48 Hours documentary was made 18 months after Madison disappeared.

When there is strong suspicious and no evidence, Canadian investigators sometimes use a Mr Big ruse to obtain a confession. In a small town like Vanderhoof, I doubt RCMP could over-lapped a Mr Big sting for Fribjon Bjornson's murder with a Madison suspect sting. Bjornson disappeared in January 2012, seven months after Madison disappeared. RCMP carried out a Mr Big sting to arrest the people responsible for Bjornson.

What stands out in the information shared by the parents (Nov 2012)?
Starting 11 minutes 30 seconds (roughly)
Madison Scott & Highway of Tears Documentary

The first screen shot is names of people who were at the party, including the arrival and departure times. The second screen shot seems to be information about some people. Can anyone make out what is written on the second board?

This is from here: Highway of Tears

Going to give it a shot to figure out what is written on this part of the board, attributed to Jack.

"Jack says Blacks Quads _______ around when he arrived."

"Confirm Quad in C. Black Truck R. Allmen says
Confirm Megan Pritchard - tree planter at Co-op Gas
said someone or that knows what happened
Sherri Quinlan heard about this story.
R. Allmen said Jordan ___ still there at 2:45

"Jack says Durrant left before him"

Durrant said Kalib and friend were there
Who are these people
Did Slade see Durrant as Durrant said did not see Slade"

"Jade says ... "

The last comment says

"Jack says
Fro is like a brother
+ Fro told him he
and Blacks last to leave
And Fro Thought everyone
was getting trucks to leave at
same time."
