  • Approximately 8:20 a.m. – arrived at Sacred Heart High School
    • Between 8:25 and 8:30 a.m. – leaves Sacred Heart High School
    • Between 8:30 and 8:40 a.m. – walks eastbound on Smith Street West from the intersection of Smith Street West and Gladstone Avenue North
    • Between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. – enters Terry’s Pawn and Bargain on 3rd Avenue North.
    • Between 8:50 and 8:55 a.m. – enters and then exits the TD Bank at 63 Broadway Street East
    • Between 8:55 and 9:00 a.m. – walks eastbound on Broadway Street East
    • Between 9:00 and 9:15 a.m. – enters Tim Hortons at 160 Broadway Street East
    • Between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. – exits Tim Hortons and walks northbound on 8th Avenue North.
    • Between 9:30 and 9:40 a.m. – walks westbound on 100-200 block Broadway Street East then momentarily walks northbound on 6th Avenue North
    • Between 9:40 and 9:50 a.m. – walks eastbound in the parking lot of the 100-200 block of Broadway Street East between Giant Tiger and Superstore
    • Between 9:50 and 9:55 a.m. – re-enters Tim Hortons at 160 Broadway Street East
    • Between 10:40 and 10:45 a.m. – leaves Tim Hortons and walks westbound on Broadway Street East past the Kia Dealership, crosses the 7th Avenue intersection toward the Ramada Hotel, turns around and walks southbound on 7th Avenue for a short distance, turns around and walks past the Ramada Hotel, continuing west on Broadway Street East and past Robins Donuts
    • Between 10:45 and 11:55 a.m. – whereabouts unknown – can you help investigators with this time gap?
    • Between 11:55 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. – enters Sacred Heart High School
    • Between 12:00 and 12:05 p.m. – leaves Sacred Heart High School
    • Between 12:15 and 1:00 p.m. – purchases a meal at the Trail Stop Restaurant in the STC Bus Depot Building on 1 Ave North
    • Between 1:00 and 1:45 p.m. – leaves the STC Bus Depot

Why did she enter THorton's twice, but then purchases a meal at the Trail Shop? Lots of back and forth, enter and exit action.
Was she looking for someone, or hiding from someone?
speculation.

Did she sell something?
Did she take money from the bank?
It is strange to walk into a bank unless you are doing business

“We were in the bathroom putting on our makeup, listening to tunes, talking about our day. Nothing stands out as different from that day,” Paula told Dateline.

Mekayla’s grandmother dropped Paula off at work first. Around 8:20 a.m., she dropped Mekayla off at Sacred Heart High School in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada.

When Mekayla’s grandmother went to school to pick her up that afternoon, Mekayla wasn’t waiting for her. So her grandmother went inside to see if Mekayla was there, but teachers and peers said they had not seen her for most of the day. Her grandmother then drove to Paula’s office and told her Mekayla was missing from school.

“[Mekayla] had music lessons after school. She had a recital coming up, and she had been practicing the night before,” Paula told Dateline. She thought Mekayla might have gone to music class early, so she went to check there. But Mekayla was nowhere to be found.

Her mother, Paula Bali, told a Child Find meeting in Saskatoon on Friday that Canada could learn from the United States on how to handle missing children cases.

She says in the U.S., they form task forces that include members of the military, search and rescue groups and others who work with police.

He is popular mainly among Cree and other Canadian aboriginal people. This would buttress the theory that she is in the care/company of someone from the Tsuut'ina Nation, no? I guess given her age, I was expecting a musical act --- Weezer had played there not long before, as an example.

If a kidnapped person were to be held captive and raised by the abductor or trafficked. The chances are very high that once the offender feels they have full control they allow the victim small freedoms. Like computer use etc. Is there no up to date facial recognition system that could scam all trafficking adds? Many use pics of the real girls. Or scan *advertiser censored* videos for facial recognition. I often thought of Michael Dunahee the 3 yr old kidnapped in Victoria BC almost 30 yrs ago. I wonder if he had been raisedby the kidnapper and completely unaware of his reality..maybe he is 1 of the 1000000 of men on POF and Tinder. I just think there has to be some way to mass search the net for enough facial similaritis to narrow down a few potential ppl.
