''The family of 33-year-old Robert Hutchison hasn’t heard from him since the evening of Jan. 30, and police say they’re concerned about his well-being.

Hutchison is described as five-foot-ten with a medium build, light brown brush-cut hair, and hazel eyes.

Investigators are now working with the Winnipeg Police Service's homicide unit, said Sgt. Andrea Scott, who is with the missing persons unit.

Police now believe the last time Hutchison was seen or heard from was on the night of Jan. 31, 2021, somewhere in the area of Manitoba Avenue and Artillery Street. They're asking any residents in the area who may recall seeing or hearing anything unusual that night to contact police.


They believe Hutchison was familiar with the area where he was last seen.

"I can tell you at the time leading up to his disappearance, he was suffering from some addictions, and we believe that that has led to the reason of his disappearance," Scott said at Tuesday's news conference.''


''Hutchison's mother pleaded for anyone with information to come forward.

"Please break the silence that has kept us in the dark for over a year and a half," she said.

"By being silent, you share in the guilt. By coming forward, you will help his family learn what has happened to our son and help us heal and move forward. Help us bring our son home."

Well, it sounds like this is headed toward...
1) Robert OD'd while alone in a hidden area outside or in an abandoned building.
2) Robert OD'd while with others and they hid his remains.
3) Robert was harmed due to a drug transaction gone wrong.

My guess is either # 2 or 3. Somebody knows something though...that's for sure.

''Almost three years since his disappearance, the family of a missing Winnipeg man is hoping members of the public can shine a light on his whereabouts.''

''Robert Hutchison went missing at age 33, and was last in contact with family on Jan. 30, 2021. Despite police and community efforts, his whereabouts remain unknown, although police said last year they believe foul play was involved.

Hutchinson’s cousin, Paul Turenne, says the family started a billboard campaign in hopes of receiving tips from the public.

“Robert’s mother’s been frustrated with a lack of information. It’s not that the police aren’t trying — people aren’t talking,” Turenne told 680 CJOB’s The Start.''
