The car allegedly used in a suspicious incident in the area of Elm Avenue and Sherbourne Street on March 15, 2019, in which a 13-year-old girl was allegedly followed by a man. HANDOUT/Toronto Police Service
"The first incident happened on March 7 around 8 a.m. in the area of Elm Avenue and Dunbar Road.

Police said a 14-year-old girl was walking when a car, driven by an unknown man, followed her for a short distance. A short time later, the same man approached the girl from behind and asked her to get in his car.

When she refused, he allegedly grabbed her hand and tried to pull her towards him. She was able to break away and flee the area.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late 20s to early 30s, six feet tall, with short hair or a shaved head. He was wearing a black Adidas hooded sweater, and black sweat pants. He was driving a small black four-door sedan.

About a block away, at Elm Avenue and Sherbourne Road, was where the second incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on March 15.

According to police, a 13-year-old girl was walking on the sidewalk when a man in a silver Nissan Altima began following her. He allegedly began making sexual comments to the girl. She ran to a friend’s house where the man waited outside in his car."

Both of these occurrences are very close to a large, private girls school.

Stay safe girls!

ETA: don't know if the girls are from THAT school or not but the timing was the beginning/end of the school day.

Thought of "that" school right away, if not for the creepy sexual comment made to one of the girls, might have wondered if it was one of the same perps who recently abducted the presumed affluent young Asian male for abduction.
imo, speculation.

Dear Dotr,

This is very alarming to read, especially the fact that this happened in daylight.

That this attempted abduction occurred during the day (3:30 p.m.) and also that "the man waited outside the house in his car" shows how brazen this individual is.

Hoping that the police are able to identify this individual soon!

Dotr, you could still be right. Strange isn't it, all these abductions happening in a short period of time.

If money is the motive, they're at the right location.

This has not been thus far connected to the above incidents, but noting this occurred in another affluent area .....
