Casey's Parents May Eventually Face Charges

Nope, sorry. There's no way to "spin" this to make Cindy and George seem like something other than the depraved monsters that they are.

I doubt it's the hotel's policy to comp rooms to folks who can't go home because a search warrent is being served at their house.

Thanks for the laugh. (I know, warped sense of humor...)

I didn't say LE housed them. I don't know, just like everyone else doesn't know. Honestly, if they slept under a bush and ate bugs for dinner I think there are still people who would complain about their actions. It's actually kind of funny to watch, in a sad sort of way.

I would not have a problem with the Ritz if they had not been asking for donations for the past 5 months to find their grandchild when they knew she was dead.

The media's role is to provide information that can help the public make informed decisions and responsible choices. The A's have repeatedly asked for donations for searches and may well ask for donations for legal funds. The media is reporting information that may help people in the public make decisions.

I'm not sure I'm understanding you. Are you saying that media reported that the Anthony's paid for the room with DONATIONS?

Because if they didn't say that, I'd say they've done a damn good job of swaying public opinion.

Do you honestly think that if LE were going to take them to a hotel and put them up for the night that LE would choose the Ritz?

They had better not - not on my Florida tax dollars!!

Yesterday the PI, Dominique or something like that, said he had arranged for them to stay at an undisclosed location, so I don't think LE had anything to do with them staying at a ritzy hotel.

Especially considering your tax dollars are now going to be spent making sure their monster of a daughter is put behind bars for life.

Ok, did they chose the Ritz? The very first article I read said that they were met at the airport by LE who "whisked them away to a private location."

And IF they DID chose the Ritz, could it have anything to do with the more superior security higher-end hotels have?

Regardless, shame on the "source" for revealing their whereabouts to media, and SHAME on the media for revealing it to the public. What good could possibly come from that? What is the motivation?

I agree with you.I don't see the point in poking people already hurting.

I don't have a clue why they stayed at that hotel or went to that restaurant, but making assumptions about George and Cindy's reasons for those choices, IMO, isn't fair.

The last few times I saw them on television, they look broken. I think the situation is sad. Those people were played, manipulated and used.

MOO

There is nothing in this story to excuse. They could not go home, LE took them to a hotel. They had dinner.

OMG! They are evil

It's not the fact that they stayed at a hotel and went out to dinner that irks us, Chilly; it's the swankiness of the establishments chosen.

Shoot, my boss has worked behing the scenes in Hollywood and is friends with several celebrities; he's also a multi-millionaire. Even he doesn't stay at the Ritz when he travels to Orlando.

How do they justify not paying their atty, their private detective and "Family" spokesman and pay so much for food and lodging?

IMO, the Ritz Carlton was a good choice because of the privacy and security it can afford its patrons. Norman's is a restaurant within the hotel-- Norman's offers private dining rooms and room service arrangements for hotel guests. I agree that it seems VERY odd to want to eat after finding out yesterday's news.
However, the Anthony's seem to have a pretty intense fixation with eating in the wake of tragedy. They talk about it incessantly in Casey's jail house visits and in media interviews. They are really fixated on food, weight loss and the act of eating during emotional turmoil. People do need to eat. It makes sense that the Anthony's did eat at some point last night. It also makes sense that they ate at a restaurant within their hotel-- especially since that restaurant could give them privacy during the meal.
I agree that all of this seems out of budget for the family-- I could see someone close to the Anthony's paying the bill-- someone who feels for the A's and wishes them some peace. Someone like Nejame? People do care about the Anthony's and yesterday was, without doubt, probably the worst day of their lives.

I think the Anthony's should be charged, but how about focusing on what they have actually done?
They went to a hotel that they may or not have charged them full price.
They were escorted there by either LE or their private eye, depending on the report.
They may or may not have eaten dinner for $100/plate.
And while some people cannot eat when grieving or under stress, I would hardly indict someone for eating on such a day as I ate 4 plates at a buffet an hour after my Dad's funeral and had no trouble whatsoever eating yesterday.
If we are going to call them criminals, let's base it on the actual criminal acts that they have committed.

I can't even imagine wanting to eat at all after getting such horrible news. They are as evil as KC and I have said that from the beginning. This is a generational evil, and it needs to be stopped here.

I pray LE never has any kids to pass this evil to. Mallory appeared kind of fat, and I just pray she is not pregnant.

Out of curiousity, does anyone have a pic of Mallory from yesterday or any other time?

Where does it say in the article that the Anthonys chose the hotel? I like to have all the information before passing judgment, silly as that may sound.

Better a guiltless sleep at Motel 6 than remorseful nightmares at the Ritz.

I doubt that their surroundings will bring them any happiness or even contentment for a long, long time. You take what you are right along with you, everywhere you go.

My son's previous girlfriend used to work at one of the Ritz Carlton hotels in that area of Florida..She told me if I ever wanted to come for a visit she could get me a room there for $60..in any of the ones in her area. Maybe someone helped the Anthony's out in this way, or maybe the hotel itself lowered the fee due to the circumstances. Not at all unheard of..Kathleen
