I'm not going to celebrate that he's dead, but I'm also not going to mourn his death. He was nuts and a danger to society.
I was really upset when the Supreme Court overturned the death penalty, giving him life in prison. Back then, I would have celebrated his execution. At least the taxpayers of California won't be paying for his maintenance and upkeep anymore. Nor any more medical bills.
The guy was an enigma, for lack of a better word. I grew up during the time period when the murders were committed. I, personally, think he was an individual, who was truly, criminally, insane.
