The entire Baca County has a population of less than 4000 people.

Well he does some pretty dangerous stunts, but he’s definitely good at it! I can’t imagine why he’d go off by himself late at night to go cliff jumping though.

It’s surprising he hasn’t been found yet. I mean, how far could he go? He left his car, wallet and phone behind. Apparently they were diving today. Still not found.

I have seen a post on Facebook from a family member. It is not good and involves an underwater sonar search today. Waiting for official confirmation

Ok so it sounds like they all were cliff jumping late that NIGHT. Originally the friends were saying they only were jumping earlier in the day. But I guess they were not being truthful b/c if he went missing while jumping at night with everyone that makes much more sense. And it’s more obvious what happened. Ugh.

Body of missing Broomfield man found in Black Hole pond | 9news.com

Body recovered at Black Hole pond during search for missing camper who was reportedly cliff diving | FOX31 Denver

[“This is a tragedy and we offer our condolences to the family and friends of the victim,” said Todd Marriott, CPW Area Wildlife Manager for the Lamar region. “Unfortunately, it’s not uncommon for people to be injured jumping from the cliffs into the Black Hole. And it’s another sad example why we urge everyone to wear life jackets when in or near the water.”]

So sad. Think of all the young people that would still be here with life jackets

I've not seen confirmation from the coroner, but here is Eben's obituary:
    Tribute Archive | Home

[He lost his life doing what he loved. He was on a cliff diving adventure with a large group of friends. There was an accident in the dark of the night. He fell from a cliff into the depths of the water below. The injuries sustained in the fall were cause of his death.]
