Anyone know the kind of dog Jesse is (I think Beagle), is used for in this situation? Like cadaver? Purely scent? Might enlighten us a bit...

Edit...obviously this is not a Beagle...I don't know what I was seeing originally.

That's a bloodhound. I am not an expert but I think bloodhounds are used for ground scenting (as opposed to air scenting). I don't know if they can be used for either cadaver or live search and rescue but I'm guessing yes. Would love to know more about this from any experienced members.

It sounds like a female is saying (rather out of breath) "holy cow" followed by a male saying "I imagine its pretty...." and then it trails off.

Nearly any dog can be trained to be a cadaver dog. I've worked with a pitbull mix before.

Bloodhounds are noted to follow scent trails, from what I can find.

Respectfully ; WS allows for theories , assumptions, analysis, and most importantly-- crime solving.
If it's in msm we can discuss it.
It's why many of us are here. :)
Many if not all members post their opinions and should be perceived as such.

The person to last see Gannon has been proven to be lying when she left in her soon to be ex's truck with Gannon and returned without him.
LE have been clear that they do not dispute that she came back to the house without the boy.
Outside of that LE are searching areas that the vehicle gps would have pinged on.

I have no doubt they are not searching for a 'runaway'.
(More lies from the last person to see him.)

Some people think they are 'playing' LE and 'outsmarting' them.
Fortunately in this case that doesn't seem to be happening.
LE have been tight-lipped but their actions speak volumes.
I have faith that they are on the right track.
