I just wanted to give you guys that have been on this thread a big thanks! Zoey you are the best...nah, you all are! As I have silently been following this thread on & off, I have so enjoyed your humor, your thoughts, but most of all your courteous interaction with one another.

My iPad sometimes has trouble when logged on, so I don't "thank" often, but my thanks are always there!

Jury about to resume deliberations in first phase of #theatershooting sentencing, looking at "aggravating factors." Story NEXT on @JDBmsnbc

I re watched what I missed on youtube. This is what the judge said about Newsweek. On Friday, Newsweek DID write a story, giving the Juror's name & details. They also tweeted out a link to that article, apparently the tweet the juror got from an 'unknown' person that he didn't know.
Court's PIO sent newsweek the Judge's order about disclosing names of the jurors & they did remove the article---but- not the tweet, that still had the juror's name. That is why the defense found it right away!

I don't always agree with the defense but, IMO there should be an investigation to find who leaked the juror's name.

Does the prosecution not want an investigation to find who leaked the juror's name?

So the reporter who gave out the Juror Foremans name...her name is not out there that I can see. Has anyone seen her name or has it been erased and 'protected' by Newsweek? Yes, I think the Juror should look into legal proceedings on his own after the trial.

How many WS think that the three defense witnesses will still testify tomorrow or at a later date now there has been a delay due to the objections by the defense over slides/power point, that took a lot of time. The defense should not promise the witnesses certain dates to testify, especially when they like to find ways to delay. Trials can be very 'date/ time changeable'.

I was glad to see the State object to the defense slides....the State has been very nice to the defense as far as objections. The defense throws anything on the wall to see if it sticks.

I found the reporters name~~her name is Nina Burleigh..I hope it's okay to post it. I did not locate her tweet she sent to Juror 747.

James Holmes Trial: Prosecutors Reject Guilty Plea Offer From Aurora Massacre Suspect

Prosecutors criticized defense attorneys for publicizing the offer, calling it a ploy meant to draw the public and the judge into what should be private plea negotiations.

Prosecutors did not say what information the defense refused to give them, but the two sides have argued in court previously about access to information about Holmes' mental health.

The prosecution said that they will defer to what ever the judge decides to do. The judge said that the ban was enough.

IMO, newsweek didn't seem very active in covering the trial so it's so strange that they did such a violation. As the judge said, 'they should know better'. I'm wondering if an inexperienced journalist was told to write an article & for whatever reason, thought since the guilty verdicts, the trial was over???? So, she didn't even do research.

The main thing is that how would that journalist have gotten the Foreman's name??? She did some kind of research to be able to get a sealed name known only to the judge & attorneys. Also, his name & background is now out there!

@xxxxxxxxx Agreed. Today seems to be a reasonable estimate for when Phase 1 deliberations will conclude in #theatershooting sentencing.

Thanks for verifying what I posted on last page. I knew I read that the info the state wanted was medical records of 'that guy' & defense refused!

I did Google the reporters name...she does articles for Newsweek and other sites. The Judge made a comment about the reporter doing this for her own gain...or something close to that. When I googled, I can say, I see why the Judge made the comment and I am not impressed with her. I still feel the Juror should see a lawyer when the trial is over. JMO

Day 54 of the Aurora #theatershooting trial: Hints that the trial's 2nd phase will be much different from its 1st. http://www.denverpost.com/theater-shooting

I'm all for investigative journalism but I don't like people being put at risk. Nobody should be make to feel unsafe just for a 'good' story.

That journalist should feel ashamed of herself. There was nothing to be gained by publicising the jurors name.
