It is my understanding that LE was called out to the middle school that Kayleah attended on the day that RM was peeking thru the school windows.
Now the question here is why didn't LE take RM into custody? I'm sure that for starters, RM could have been charged with criminal treaspass.
Now, could it be that the administrators in the middle school or the school district didn't want to file criminal charges against RM because RM was still a student in their school district? Or that they just didn't want to go through the trouble of filing charges and just asked LE to escort RM off of the school property?
I'm guessing that LE just did a field interview on RM, escorted him off the school property and wrote up a incident report.

I think that if LE had other info on RM at the time of the school incident, he might have been taken into custody at that time...or maybe not, seeing how he wasn't taken into custody until 5/19...who knows why they let him roam free...

Well, she had not been identified...a body was found, they did not know if it was Kayleah's...so officially she was still missing...

I'd been working on getting all the info in one place but have only made it through part of the second thread and had to jump ahead to include the information from the end of the last thread.
I decided to post it earlier than I'd planned. I've got 24 hours to update this post but will continue to work on it and post it again in the next thread or if major information becomes available.

Kayleah Wilson – DOB 06/25/1997. Twelve-year-old Colorado girl who disappeared on Sunday, March 28 at ~3:40 p.m. when she left her home in the 2800 block of 28th Street to go to a friend’s house for a birthday party in the 1900 block of 30th Street. She never made it there. Description : 5’ 1”, 145 pounds, has brown eyes and brown hair, wearing a white and pink shirt over a white tank top, blue jeans and white and red shoes. She is a sixth grader at Brentwood Middle School. She does not have a cell phone. She has asthma and carries an inhaler (had red inhaler with her when she left – see Photos below). Her nude body was found 2 months later, May 19, in an irrigation/drainage ditch near her home.

I am disgusted RM's mother (or ANY mother for that matter!) would chose a pervert over her children and kick them out for someone who rapes children. Ugh.
But that being said, I feel conflicted with AW's decision to let RM live with them. Part of me thinks it was incredibly compassionate. The other part think it is foolish to let a teenage boy live under the same roof as your daughter. Seems like AW was really trying to do a good deed, though.

Regarding RM's mom: Other cases here on WS, the child predator grooms mom through a relationship of some kind so he can gain access to the children. Or mom is told rehab has taken place such as mandatory classes and all is okay now. Or, child predator lives with mom and dad, siblings and sibs children - he looks normal and can say he is cured - just look - I wouldn't be living with family if I wasn't????? Aren't I the normal one now? So, I guess if mom wants to have a relationship, better the children leave and avoid being sexually abused. Sounds to me like mom was looking out for her SO boyfriend when asking the kids to leave - not really protecting her kids. moo

Seeing as the coronor is saying that she was not pregnant, and earlier articles state that evidence was found near her body and RM was arrested the same day she was found. I beleive that some evidence of RM's was found near her body, something that didnt need to be sent off to be examined. Maybe he dropped his ID or something that pointed directly to him, or maybe someone came forward.
I totally think he is responsible or maybe the RSO that his mom kicked him out for is responsible or maybe both are. Whichever the guy is a freak and his pattern of behavior had he not been caught he definately has the frame of mind to do this again.
I am shocked at how LE handled this. It concerns me how LE lead mislead the public about information pretaining to her going missing all the while letting this freak run free, and yes I do beleive they misled everyone, with the runaway bit as well as the mall story and video. Knowing that RM had been stalking her, I know that technically he is innocent until proven guilty but when it walks and quacks its a duck. What if he would have found another 12 year old to become obsessed with and did the same thing to her? that childs blood would be on LE's hands, and how do we know that there is not another child he has been abusing? How old is his sister? Where is she? they need to make sure she has not been abused.

My theory has changed. At first I thought he killed her due to a pregnancy, but she was not pregnant. Now it seems very possible he did it from rejection and because Kayleah was calling him "stalker freak". He was very creepy/stalkerish after the breakup.
Kind of wonder if there was trauma to her body and he is telling LE that she asked him to do it during sex that same day, but that he didn't kill her?

Kayleah's real father is not in jail, and also, I believe the quote that he had been out of touch for several years is incorrect, I think he had not spoken to Kayleah in some months, not years...the step-father was the one who had not seen Kayleah in several years.
We have to remember when looking at above timeline/who's who that media has been wrong in several instances in this and many cases. And they seldom go back and correct errors.

Thanks to those who brought corrections to my attention.
I changed the entry for KL to reflect that she is the foster mother's daughter.
As far as the father being in jail or not being in jail, the statement is attributed to the family friend. I put the media source next to the statement.
And as to whether or not he was in touch with the family, again it was reported by media:

Just know that NOTHING in my post above is FACT. It's simply what has been reported by the media. If I find another sources that contradicts a statement made, I'll post it in the entry with the statement it contradicts.
