Please continue discussion here in accordance with The Rules:

Quick rundown of reminders from prior threads:

Rumors are not allowed.

Barry Morphew has been charged with Suzanne's murder and he and his businesses are open to sleuthing.

Do not sleuth or make accusations against anyone who is not an officially named POI/suspect.

If an approved source discusses rumors or family members, it is still NOT allowed to do so at Websleuths. WS has different standards.

Preview your posts to avoid broken quotes.

Lengthy personal anecdotes are off topic. Stay on topic.

Discuss the case and not each other; state your opinion and move one without arguing or bickering.

Random youtube videos or blogs are not allowed unless approval is given by Tricia or Admin.

Approved sources are MSM, LE, Profiling Evil podcast, Lauren Scharf podcast or social media, Investigation Discovery, Crimeonline, Tyson Draper (only the interview with Barry Morphew), public documents.

Do not discuss removed posts or question/challenge moderation on the thread. Doing so is subject to an automatic Time Out.

Has anyone watched the 20/20 episode titled “The Last Hunt”? You can watch it on Hulu. This case reminds me a lot of Suzanne. There was a millionaire dentist who murdered his wife, Bianca Rudolph, during a 2016 hunting safari in Zambia. There was no forensic evidence, no DNA, no recovered murder weapon, no body examined by American medical examiners and their two adult children believed their father to be totally innocent of the charges.

Jonny Grusing investigated her death for the FBI. It was a circumstantial case. It took 6 years from Bianca’s death for her husband to be found guilty of her murder. This case gives me hope that Grusing and the investigators won’t give up and eventually Barry will be made accountable for Suzanne’s murder.

‘48 Hours’ also just featured this case about Larry and Bianca Rudolph. The show aired September 10th and is called ‘Death on Safari’. It should still be available to watch on Paramount+ or the CBS app.

Human remains recovered in Pueblo, CO. Two hour drive from Salida. Probably not related to Suzanne, but I continue to hope that she will be found.

Pueblo County Coroner

@CoronerPueblo

The Coroner's office is working with the PCSO, our Forensic Pathologist, a Forensic Odontologist and a Forensic Anthropologist to identify and determine a cause and manner of death for the skeletal remains found on 9/25/2022 near Avondale. We will update as able.

According to the Canyon City Daily Record, Judge Groome is retiring on Nov 9.

In that case, seems we should be hearing about the new appointment for his bench sooner than later. Maybe Jeff Lindsey will make the cut??
As per the article below Groome Is being replaced by Amanda Hunter. From the article :
“Amanda J. Hunter is the Custer County Court Judge, a position she has held since 2016. She is also a Legal Research Attorney in the 11th Judicial District and a District Court Magistrate in the 11th Judicial District, positions she has held since 2016. Previously, Ms. Hunter was a Deputy Public Defender in the 11th Judicial District (2011-2016). Ms. Hunter earned her B.A. from the University of Iowa in 2002 and her J.D. from the University of Nebraska in 2011.”
