It would have been a huge disappointment to Turner,
she possibly never really got over it...
Oh she is a what goes around comes around type person :). She might be glad now she has the job she has and not disappointed at all.

Really?
By targeting DA offices as campaign tactic?
what exactly does that sat about her?

Remember this is not her first rodeo.

I heard complaints about the DA’s Office. Law enforcement and elected leaders were disappointed in the lack of teamwork and responsiveness from the prior District Attorney’s administration. Many community leaders asked me to apply for the interim vacancy and all of the city council signed a letter urging the governor to appoint me. I decided to volunteer to lead because I knew I had the experience necessary to engage our stakeholders, including law enforcement and victim advocacy groups, to move our community in a positive direction. My endorsements from sheriffs and correctional workers demonstrate my success so far...'

Thanks for posting this @kittythehare
It brought me back to the beginning of this case.
So interesting the foreshadowing in LS ‘s statement during the Q and A. She states she was hesitant to run for office bc she is not a politician and does not believe politics should play a part in the prosecutors office.
Imo her lack of political savvy, in what i believe is a politically charged environment - has been instrumental in her inability to be successful in that role.
“ What made you want to seek public office?
LS: I have been a public servant for my entire professional career. First, as a police officer, then as a prosecutor and, most recently, as a hearing officer. I enjoy serving the public but when this opportunity came up and I was asked to run, I must say I was very hesitant at first. I am not a politician and I firmly believe politics should never enter the duties and responsibilities of a prosecutor.”

On the other hand it appears Katlyn is quite the politician.

Imo someone who falls somewhere in the middle of these two on the spectrum might be just what this district needs.

Naw.

This district's going nowhere without adequate resources and staffing levels.

Remains of Suzanne Morphew found! “The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has positively identified the remains as that of Morphew.”

I'm breathless. The day has finally arrived.

Investigators were searching in the area of Moffat in Saguache County on an investigation not related to the Morphew disappearance when the remains were discovered.
