It was asked in previous thread but I didn’t see a response. How is it the defense can use different cell phone data software and not disclose it ahead of time to prosecution?

I do not understand why the judge allowed it. I don't think there was an objection by the state either. Odd.

Good question! I have no idea how it works in a preliminary hearing. I know each side had to provide a witness list to each. Defense even demanded to know the order. Hope someone here can answer.

Because she was "prey" to him? In his mind she had been dehumanized, especially because he knew divorce was imminent. He enjoyed/took a special pleasure in killing her in that premeditated manner.

I do believe this. I think he took pleasure in planning this "hunt" too. At the end of the previous thread someone posted about BM and him not having an active affair that LE discovered. I think this was purposeful. I can't wait to hear about his past, I think the fact that he was not having an affair in 2020 is more unusual then him having one and being caught, because I think this guy was always on the hunt in many ways.

Defense exhibit *advertiser censored*: Another copy of cellebrite report. Neilsen is speaking about the precision value of this data. (more up to date program) The state is objecting this foundation because the exhibit doesn't say who's phone the data came from or a number.

Still can’t believe I was sitting 20 ft from #BarryMorphew.

He was noticing smaller (no gym in jail) and had white wispy hair. He sat up straight for most of the hearing. Occasionally would lean towards his attorneys Eytan and Nielsen. Sometimes touching arms or shoulders.

It’s been decades since I’ve worked in the veterinary field, but iirc ketamine was kept in the drug safe and all doses used were logged. Missing ketamine should show up on records.

Im wondering if BM’s alleged darkweb activity was to buy ketamine/tranq/fentanyl/etc so it couldn’t be traced.

It’s extraordinarily easy to buy drugs over the darknet. What is more challenging is buying the Bitcoin needed to make those purchases and surely there will be a financial trail of BM purchasing Bitcoin if this was actually what happened.

After hearing about the tranquilizer dart I wondered where he might have gotten a sedative to use with it. I wondered if maybe firefighters carried some sort of tranquilizing device when the fought wildfires to protect them against bears etc. In going down the google rabbit hole I came across this news article : Is Ketamine the New Police Weapon Against Black Lives? and within that article was this sentence: "In Colorado, 90 fire departments and emergency medical agencies can legally use ketamine to treat people who are agitated or aggressive." I wish there was a way to see if the firehouse that Barry belonged to was one of them!

He could have put a small amount of something in her food/drink when he came home for lunch eating veggie soup with her. That would explain his comment of her looking drunk in the sunbathing selfie. They sure didn't mention him falling apart at seeing one of the last photos ever taken of his precious wife.

I think BM is a short guy that is stocky, easily bulks up. Suzanne seems petite and he's not much taller than her in the photos of them together. He's probably struggled with the short man complex along with never really measuring up. Her money helped him but it was always her money. Men like that love to spend they partners money to show off, big toys, big homes, flashing the money to impress.

I agree that this is more likely. I think it would be noticeable if ketamine went missing. Hopefully it would be noticeable.

Her father lived in Michigan, and I believe had an interest in a business that Suzanne also had an interest or investment in, IMO.

Barry had a lot of women on facebook, as it was good for his landscaping business. The other may have been a description of JL's purpose for a trip? Or maybe it had something to do with Gene's tree farm in MI?

Also I watched LS YT debrief on day 2, and she or her partner said that no graphic was provided on the screen while talking about the phone pings, doors opening shutting, brakelights etc.

I heard on last thread that E&N had a map with push pins.
Is this part of their strategy, not to use modern graphic tools? Something that the court can't see?
To keep things "apples and oranges" on the cross so no one knows what was actually said?
Or are they disrganized and lacking normal office skills ?
